Game of the Millennia 2000. A well-made tutorial to get you started, and very good at explaining different danmaku concepts. 10/10, would recommend to any infants out there who are just starting their bullet hell journey. Oh, and I guess our Lord and Saviour Lightsaber Fairy is quite cute.

Good for practicing how to play bullethell games as a beginner. Now I can play Deathsmiles and Twinkle Star Sprites like a pro!

Like others have mentioned, English language is supported, so ignore that part on the store page! This is an interactive bullet hell shoot'em up ("shmup") tutorial that introduces new players to some basics, like hitboxes, or the slow-/ focus button. There is also some interesting info about player movement. After that, the game covers some general types of enemy shots / formations, and teaches the player how to deal with them. In each lesson, the player has to apply what they learned. And in the final lesson, they have to figure out how to apply everything they learned, in order to survive. (don't feel bad if it feels completely overwhelming at first ^^) Even as a long-time player, I found this tutorial game helpful, and enjoyed it! :) Keep in mind that it doesn't teach all the basics: There are no bombs, enemy homing projectiles, or suicide bullets. The game doesn't mention popular concepts like rank or grazing. And no mention about the unwritten rule that you only beat a shmup if you 1cc it, or about the usefulness to score well to gain extra lives ("extends"). But it's alright! The game is very cheap, and it's really cool for what you pay! :) Just don't expect a full tutor…
