You know something is fishy when one of the reviews mentions how this game "continues the long-running budget racing franchise" from this developer, a developer that so far has only released one single game. This is a reference to the other Barro games released by SC Jogos. The two have nothing to do with each other - Grishko Games decided to capitalise on the name, that's it. Mentioned reviewer thinks that this is worth the 700 words, plus, this is a person with 20K+ write-ups and 30K+ games. Seems legit. Now that we have successfully noticed the reviewed-by-friends phenomenon, let's look at what this "new" Barro game has to offer. Only 5 tracks and a minimalistic options menu where icons are meant to tell you what you can change as settings, still, I never figured out what the icon with vertical lines meant. Your settings are never saved so you need to start from scratch or start a race with the default options. The 5 tracks follow the same graphical patterns - the road is broken up by sandy parts. And they all have over 4 hours of playtime, when this game doesn't even have content for 1 hour. Barro 2026 seems to pretend it's a game from that series, copying the same visual style and simplicity. But the main reason I believe this to be a shameless rip-off is the fact that the original games had been improving with time. They aren't anything special, but they were getting slightly better with each entry. On the other hand, Barro 2026 is a MASSIVE step-back from those other games. Solid little racing game for when you just want to chill and drive. 1.2 hours flew by — tried a few cars and tracks, and I'm genuinely enjoying it.

Cool cars to while away the time, but nothing more, beautiful low-poly graphics and pleasant music, worth the money

Barro 2026 is a fun and exciting game with smooth gameplay, colorful visuals, and plenty of enjoyable moments. Highly recommended for everyone!
