This is my favorite batman arkham game2 found this helpful

Having read Steam reviews, I expected this game to be horrible, but it was anything but. It's quite enjoyable and unputdownable, non-linear and highly replayable (which is a big plus since you need to finish the base game once and NG+ twice to unlock all the achievements). Sure, it's not City or Asylum, but still its 2,5D feel a lot closer to 3 than to 2. Combat is simplified, wuth only ground takedown and beatdown available as special moves, but it's more than enough since the main focus here is exploration and looking for secrets, not fighting. If you are a fan of the seires, at least give it a try. Maybe you'll get hooked, too. One precaution - while this game does not require gamepad (although fighting and gliding is far easier with it), there is one point in the game when the character did not climb down a ledge despite 'LCtrl - Drop Down' context action present on the screen. But when I took gamepad and pressed B when prompted, it worked and I was able to continue. So yes, there is a major bug. Otherwise, my experience was very positive. If you are a fan of the series, at least give it a try.
An intresting idea, especialy for an Arkham game, but unfortunatly poorly executed. The gameplay feels slow and map is confusing. Altough after i understood the environment a bit more and got used to it, it was almost fun. I'd rate it a 6.5/10. Not a bad game but the biggest downfall in the franchise.
Lowk filler mehhhhhh
I'm not very far into it. It is challenging and the controls are slower to respond than the main games, and the pathing for Batman is beyond bizarre, but so far I am enjoying it; and the story is unique. Not a fan of the boss fights, but Deadshot's was actually better than his Arkham City's one. So that's a plus.
