This is a severely flawed game in many respects. The spritework has inconsistent dot pitch, the sound balance is off in more than one place, there's placeholder text remaining, a lot of the sprite animation is stiff, and I think there's more than a few issues with balance. (Also the English translation is mostly incomplete, so you'd better get Nihongo Jouzu.) I guess you could also say that stylistically it owes more than a little to the Touhou series. But, I enjoyed it, and it's really the sort of game that makes you want to enjoy it despite all the technical issues. The side-scrolling sections work, even if they're a little half-baked, the boss battles are creative and all the characters are interesting. I can also confirm that all British people have the ability to summon an image of the Palace of Westminster when holding a Lee Enfield rifle. Its take on steampunk feels pretty fresh, the climax is cool, and I really love the artstyle, both the portraits and the game itself. Obviously not an unqualified recommendation, but this is certainly worth your time if you can look past the jank.3 found this helpful
A quaint love letter to touhou, modestly made. Could use some more bullets and more side scrolling implementation, but you can't beat the price of free. Overall, it's a game.2 found this helpful
I think the final boss was waaayy too long and boring, it was cool for a few attacks but i died right at the end and just didnt care enough to retry. the bullet patterns were very unique for the rest of the game though, loved it :31 found this helpful
