Battle Fleet: Ground Assault

Great game but I wish they would add Russia tanks and new maps.

Although the game isn't gonna win any awards - It is exactly what it says it is. If you go into it with the right expectations - you will enjoy the game play. It's a great boredom / time filler when you wanna game without all the mental gymnastics/drama.

While it was easier to gauge distance in the original 'Battle Fleet', it was IMPOSSIBLE to judge distance in this ground battle version!!! For such tank combat games, I strongly recommend the designers would add tick marks in 10 meters increment because it was impossible to try and judge the distance of a target when all I had to work with was the half and max distance circles!!! What the hell is near 1/3 of 125 when the targets were much smaller than a battleship!!!? I played a quick battle and even when my own tank was near a couple of tank length distance from the enemy, I was still unable to input the correct distance for my shots. At two shots per turn, I was unable to score any hits while the computer would consistently score even if not by the first shot. It sure was a quick battle as all my tanks got wiped out simply because I couldn't judge the distance of any of my shots. If a future update does not include a revised shot distance interface, I will surely be returning this game to Stream within 24 hours! I really want to love this game, but the bugs make it practically unplayable. AI attacks a region, then on the battlefield does nothing but wait. Also, sometimes units just can't be moved, even if its their first turn after starting the battle (the game just won't let you select a position). Would give the game a try if the bugs are fixed, but right now, you spend more time fighting the game than the (bad) AI.

A decent Turn-Based Strategy Game, but I'd wait for a sale before picking it up.

Great and amazing game, Except... This game is amazing in the terms of making sure that you get to relive all of the greatest military history in playing as all of the historical tanks on the battlefield in the strategic overhead point of view. There is the story where you are playing as the axis or as the allies in the fierce battle to turn the tide in the war of the era. It's just just like a huge chess board, or risk even when you attack a certain country you can see all of the tanks and military personnel to attack and all of the personnel you are trying to attack to a certain point unless you have a recon down on the target then you are able to see the total amount of armor and enemies they have for that region. You zoom into the ground and it is turn based strategic map you are in control over taking cover utilizing the terrain and man made building that are in the area of that map. The only thing that I do NOT like and is what is making me give a negative review is that this is solely a single play game at this point I am not to sure of why I am not able to connect online to play against other people but I have tried several and countless times to.
