While the experience delivers tactically, the strategy layer suffers a real lack of sophistication, with many elements not deeply modelled. Something that suggests it could be an after-thought, these need to be flushed out. As a consequence the gameloop is lean. Customisation allows ships to have an anti-ship, sub or air role or mix thereof. No research component means there is never a need to upgrade these. Audiovisuals provide fair immersion, but are crude in places. At least content unlocks from its mobile origins can be bypassed in the settings. move one ship then battle. hope you don't lose. Then over the course of two to three more turns you might be able to get the whole fleet into the fight except theres no way to do as one move. so instead of having a half a dozen ships move from three different zones to flank and attack it's broken up into three separate battles of which I lost every one, although it should have been 7 ships against 2, instead it took p;ace over three turns and I lost every ship a couple at a time. game sucks, I wish I never bought it. ALSO! the smoke cloud/cover sucks azz. I use it and they shoot and score hits; they use it, and disappear from my battle map and I miss every time. no tutorial or info to help. God what a waste of $$$$$

Great game.

Wanted to let you know just how much I enjoyed the first quick battle I just played after purchasing this game. I was looking for some VR games to try a Quest 3S I got for Christmas, and liked the look of this. Took me a couple of minutes to get used to the controls and the gameplay, and then I just went for it. Was excellent. The only thing that took a little time to get a handle on was the camera movement, which was a little iffy at first, but I got used to it. FYI I'm over 40, so wasn't looking for anything fast pace and really enjoyed the slower, relaxed pace of the game, which I can understand not everyone will vibe with. Excellent game. Will absolutely keep up with the series if more are released!

Enjoy the 'fairly' realistic challenges of range calculating, and the 'look & feel' of the combat. Might be a better game with complete plotting of all movement by both sides before it happens, followed by turn based firing. Under current game, ship accidental collisions should not be possible as the movement (each ships taking a full turn moving up to full distance before the next ship) is not realistic.
