Battle Ranch: Pigs vs Plants, developed by Playboom and published by Senpai Industrial Studios, is a quirky strategy title that combines familiar tower defense mechanics with light resource management, all wrapped in a playful farm-themed setting. The concept is immediately approachable: defend your ranch from waves of invading pigs by deploying an assortment of weaponized plants. It’s a premise that leans into humor and accessibility, presenting itself as a casual experience while still offering enough structure to keep players engaged over longer play sessions. The gameplay centers on placing defensive units along fixed paths to prevent enemies from reaching your base, a formula that will feel instantly recognizable to anyone familiar with the genre. Each plant serves a specific role, whether it’s dealing damage, slowing enemies, or providing utility, and success depends on how effectively you combine these elements. Resource management plays an important part as well, with currency earned during each wave being reinvested into new defenses or upgrades. This creates a steady loop of decision-making, where players must balance short-term survival with longer-term efficiency. Whil…1 found this helpful
The failed tribute
Sorry but it's a 2015 game that works like pvz made in 2003, It opens up a new window each time a new level starts, even on cutscenes. Game itself feels like a spyware that's downloaded from a Russian crack site, EXTREMELY clunky and slow, can't be even sped up via external means, game can't even be rewarding when you beat something, There's LITERALY A GUIDE THAT SHOWS YOU HOW TO BEAT THE GAME INSIDE OF IT, which shows EVEN WHICH PLANT YOU NEED TO PLANT CRONOLOGICALY ON EACH TILE, No randomness, no charm, no sauce, just a straight line to play that has been plagued with the video game yellow paint disease. The only plus this game has is it was made without AI.
if you squint your eyes, it would look like you are playing pvz with worse music and graphics. game would keep randomly tabbing out for me. 5/10
Graphics: Pencil/marker drawn, clunky animation. Audio: Ass. Gameplay: Cheapo Plants v. Zombies with worse everything, beginning with the UI. Not only does it play bad, it feels bad to play.
It's a very bad attempt to clone PvZ
