What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players describe this as a basic sandbox with some interesting mechanics that fails to deliver engaging gameplay in practice. Common complaints include poor graphics, significant performance issues even on powerful hardware, broken AI, awkward UI for viewing and managing game elements, and a general lack of content or updates since release. Most agree it might be worth trying only at a deep discount, comparing it unfavorably to similar games like Prison Architect.
its basic. fun for a short while. never been updated. just save it1 found this helpful
Not for me
good enough, remember me prison architect, at least i got it for cheap, not much to do though
as a "game" it's sort of bad. as a demo/tutorial to some sandbox elements, it's kind of cool. less of the sandbox time is spent on having fun gameplay imo. - not that great/fun around viewing values (for how to improve the map) in the game world - queues can be awful - creating and wanting to move/increase size of rooms are awful and not fun. - performance issues with scaling to full size or using a lot of items in "arenas". have to look into: (set of default values for set experiences they want, but might not be shown ingame) some restrictive or feels like such for the gameplay flow, that doesn't make the game fun and only would try this game at a discount.
the graphics are EXTREMELY ugly and the game itself doesnt really work that great
Obviously the game's had some love and attention put into it, but it's just not fun. The AI breaks every 5 minutes and for some reason, the medium difficulty scenario makes my entire PC stutter and freeze. I have an RTX 4060Ti. Just don't. I know what you're thinking, but there's better out there.
