About Beastkeepers

Beastkeepers is your creature taming adventure at the bottom of the screen. Breed and train powerful creatures, battle enemies, and earn coins. Use them to unlock new creatures, upgrades, and decorations. Grow stronger and progress endlessly!

  • Breed and Train Unique Creatures: Nurture, and evolve your creatures into powerful beasts ready for combat. Each creature has its own set of abilities, strengths, and weaknesses. Unlock new creatures as you progress!
  • Idle Gameplay with Meaningful Progress: Beastkeepers is designed to be played even when you're not around. While you’re away, your creatures continue to fight and earn coins. Use these coins to upgrade your beasts, improve your land, and unlock new structures to automate your processes.
  • Customize and Upgrade: From creature abilities to land decoration, the game allows for a deep customization experience. Place decorative structures to enhance your land and grant passive bonuses that affect your creatures’ stats.
  • Battle Against Enemies: Your creatures will fight in automated battles, but you’ll need to strategically train and improve their skills to face tougher opponents. As you defeat enemies, you’ll earn coins and resources to upgrade your monsters and lands.

Neutral review. I think that it's not really worth it at full price for the limited content it has. There's not much to do in this game. You basically just buy monsters, feed and wash them, then let them passively earn income per minute or by defeating the occassional skeleton that spawns providing 100 gold on kill. You can leave it idle for abit but when you come back, it's likely all your monsters are dead and you need to spend a lot of time clicking each individual coin to pick them up. Would be great if there is an option to change the pick up behavior to hover over instead of click. Otherwise, I genuinely recommend using an autoclicker rather than wasting your mouse clicks... It's faster with to pick up all the gold with an autoclicker. There's also no way to fully automate the game (e.g even with the max upgrade for the food and water trough, you still have to manually top it up rather quickly since there's only max of 7 units you can put in). Progression is locked behind incremental values of gold gain. Pretty easy to hit those milestones except the last one for steam achievement. Not difficult, just takes time and patience. :)

Love that my creatures keep fighting even when I'm offline. Wake up, collect coins, upgrade. Simple and satisfying.

Beastkeepers, developed and published by Family Devs, is an idle creature-management game that builds its appeal around passive progression and long-term accumulation rather than active, moment-to-moment gameplay. Designed to run alongside your daily routine, it embraces the philosophy of “set it up and let it grow,” offering a steady stream of rewards that continue even when you’re not directly interacting with it. This approach makes it immediately approachable, especially for players who prefer low-pressure experiences that don’t demand constant attention. At its core, the game revolves around collecting and managing a roster of creatures that automatically engage in combat. These beasts generate resources over time by fighting on your behalf, creating a loop where earnings are reinvested into upgrades, new units, and efficiency improvements. The structure is straightforward: build a team, let them battle, collect rewards, and use those rewards to expand your capabilities. This cycle is familiar to fans of incremental games, and it delivers a consistent sense of progression, even if that progression unfolds gradually. The idle nature of the game is its defining feature. Much o…

Decorating my land gives passive bonuses? Didn't expect that. Makes customization useful and fun.

The game has horrible performance for what it is, and the lack of informative UI elements is unacceptable. There's not reason you should have to guess from the start what it costs to feed, clean, and hydrate the monsters. Makes it feel like the game has some other malicious motive for running on your computer. The gameplay is painfully slow, and does not have substance.
