Beat the Mons! is a completely free minimalist retro pixel 2D top down "autoshooter" bullet hell shoot 'em up. Use the arrow keys to move a ball around while it blasts triangles and squares. Collect the rewards and powerups and see how long you can survive for. It's great that the developers made this free, nothing speaks as a greater testament to their belief in their work and dedication to the gaming industry than wanting as many people to play their game, without thought of remuneration. Unfortunately this is let down by locked controls and resolution, shallow gameplay and low quality pixel "art" instead of contemporary PC graphics. I hope the developers here move on to bigger and better things.2 found this helpful
