About BeeFense BeeMastered

The bees are back...bigger, bolder, better!

Protect the bees from the invasion of hostile hornets by building an effective defense: a real BeeFense!
Command your hardworking bees to build defenses that you can customize using honeydew, the world's most valuable resource. The ill-tempered hornet queen Hornette is not only aggressive, but also genetically modified and will stop at nothing and no one. The bee colony depends on your strategy.

In the remastered version of the successful mobile game, the bees will not only have to deal with the Hornet Queen and her army, but will also encounter the evil General Hornus and his henchmen in six brand new levels.
Join the bee people on their journey to the land of fireflies and help them against the general's troops. As a master of light and darkness, you'll expand your repertoire of weapons against the nasty invaders with flares and other useful abilities.

In BeeFense - BeeMastered, the entire graphics have been reworked from the ground up without losing the charm of the mobile game. All models and textures are now in FUll HD and in a completely new light atmosphere. Rounded off by the new animations, all the characters and the world in which they move seem even more alive.

Together with your army, plunge into numerous battles, plan the construction of your defenses and protect your people on the long, dangerous journey to a remote land.
BeeFense - BeeMastered is our attempt to point out one of the most important issues in the animal world with this small, not entirely serious tower defense. Bees especially need to be protected from the dangers they suffer at the hands of humans.
  • NEW LEVEL: in a total of 26 levels, 6 of which are brand new designs, we tell the story about the bee colony of queen bee Nectarine.
  • NEW TURMUPGRADES: with the light ammunition you can now uncover enemies that would otherwise be invisible in the shadows
  • NEW GRAPHICS: experience the world of BeeFense in a completely overhauled graphic design
  • FIGHT: Challenging tower defense gameplay with an exciting story around the journey of the bee colony.
  • BUILD: Customize your defense strategy using a total of 12 different tower properties!
  • ADMINISTRATE: Collect different resources with your bees to supply your colony and be ready for the next attack.
  • DEVELOP: Decide for yourself which upgrades you want to use to improve your defenses.
  • SPECIAL TASKS: Face specific challenges in each level to get even more of the precious honeydew.

This TD game is infested with bad decisions on how to design a TD game. You get to have horrible, unskippable dialogue at the beginning of each wave You get enemies that look the same as your army It's a grindfest of epic proportions to upgrade your abilities aka RPG traits And the music just absolutely sucks. I finally gave up after clicking through the dialogues for the upteenth time

BeeFense BeeMastered is a "remaster" of a mobile app that's been dumped on Steam as if it was a real PC game (it's not)... it's a cash grab from greedy mobile devs. The game is a mobile tower defense game with a cartoon bee theme. It's rendered in 3D, but the graphics are low poly. You can choose 4K resolution but the developers never bothered improving the game from the mobile version (despite this being a "remaster"), so the game is still pillarboxed to an iPad aspect ratio, it looks bad as a result of this laziness. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. The game features lazy low-polygon "retro" assets, making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the mid 2000s. It's unclear why the developers weren't able to arrange high quality, high polygon count contemporary assets for the game, and also irrelevant... what matters is that this looks bad as a result of their decisions, a compromise PC gamers shouldn't have to put up with. Because this is a mobile app, it carries a number of deliberate design deficiencies (like low poly graphics as mentioned). Compromises were made to cater to t…

BeeFense BeeMastered, developed and published by ByteRockers’ Games, is a lighthearted yet surprisingly layered tower defense experience that revolves around protecting a bee colony from waves of hostile insects. Framed around the journey of Queen Bee Nectarina and her loyal swarm, the game blends colorful presentation with strategic resource management, offering more depth than its cheerful exterior initially suggests. While its theme leans into charm and humor, the mechanics beneath the surface demand thoughtful planning, careful prioritization, and efficient multitasking. At its core, BeeFense BeeMastered follows traditional tower defense principles: enemies travel along fixed paths, and players must construct defensive towers to stop them before they breach the hive. However, the game expands this formula by tying tower construction and upgrades directly to a broader colony management system. Resources such as pollen, nectar, water, and honeydew are not simply currencies for building structures; they are lifelines for the entire colony. Pollen is essential for expanding the workforce and constructing new defenses, nectar feeds the bees to keep them productive, water sustains g…

I actually really liked this tower defense game at first. I didn't care for how every single thing that happened in the story made me stop and listen. I found myself having to skip dialogue over and over again. Eventually if you don't do special challenges in each level you won't get enough "honeycombs" and honeycombs is how you unlock new levels. So after getting about halfway through I ran out of honeycombs and had to go back and do previous levels again to advance, and I lost interest.

I purchased this game for its adorable visuals. The concept is easy and straightforward, perfect for unwinding. Unfortunately, there are annoying dialog windows popping up every now and then. The game stays frozen until you skip over every single comment. This is extremely frustrating. I just wanna play a game in piece. I don't want any pop up windows disrupting the player experience - I'm simply not interested in any written story and I don't need to read a feature explanation over and over again if I replay a round. Why don't you just show a dialog window without freezing the game? It could have been such a cool game. This is so sad.
