Strongly recommend this game if you enjoy a good meditative experience with a wholesome narrative, you get to unwrap a bittersweet story about a past relationship with innovative mechanic with closing your eyes. The story really made me emotional and I teared up several times on my first run, it made me think about my own past and also how to make closures moving forward.
The ambiance mode
was a surprised but cool addition to unlock, will definitely try to get to all the possible endings and see how murph and georgie ends up at.4 found this helpful
an incredible, moving game that examines the feelins we all feel after a breakup. 100/103 found this helpful
A short but very satisfying play! the mechanic of closing your eyes to listen to the narrative really remixes the impact of a traditional cutscene, and I really like the voice acting. The story is poignant and even though the protag is female the game is more than a little sad boy, and I mean that in the best way possible. It's an impressively emotional journey and has a high production value, making it well worth the price. Also, the director of Before your Eyes consulted on it, and it shows!2 found this helpful

I've played the English version on my friend's laptop and started the Chinese version on this account. I did not get very far on the Chinese version because the voiceover is a bit cringy. The tech is super cool and the mechanic is very meditative. It is 10/10 as an alt control experimental game. Absolutely go into this to appreciate the hard work of that! However, I feel that it does not completely meet the expectation as a narrative game. As a love and closure story, there's some confusion as to what each character wants or needs. I wish I understood the individual characters more: does Murph want to get married? does she worry about meeting Georgie's standards? I understand some of it is implied but there is also an overarching theme were Georgie tells Murph what to do and what to feel, even towards the end. There's something really sad about a women's story of closure ending with a man's words telling them this and that, etc etc. Their biggest fight also feels small. I think what makes love so hard is that it targets our deepest insecurities, I expected to understand Murph's personal insecurities and why Georgie soothes or triggers them. (Is Georgie's insecurity just lack…
Its a very unique and interesting interactive narrative piece. I really like how focused it is on pursuing the unique mechanic of closing the eyes to progress the plot, make decisions and remember things from your character's past. It feels very very good, It left me almost wanting to control the whole game just with my eyes. I also loved how tactile all the objects feel, the small interactions with all the objects made them feel very immersive and real. I just wanted to keep moving them around, admiring their buttons, textures, colors and different interactions. Would recommend for sure!
