Belle Citique - Just a relaxing Causal City Builder https://youtu.be/yELNX371TPI I think the title says it all, its a little medieval casual city builder. There are no cost, no issues, no set plan other then what you set out to build. Overall I would take it as that much its a simple game, and so far I have had fun with it. I have attached a video in case your wondering. If you are looking for something simple and relaxing were you can build to your hearts content, it might be worth picking up.

While I like the graphic style, and the tools are easy to use, there isn't a lot to do. It's easy to complete all the levels (challenges) within two hours. After that, there's not much left to do. While the sandbox mode has some different grid options for snapping buildings to, it doesn't have anything else aside from a potentially larger map area. There are some residents, birds, and animals that come to your town, but they don't seem to do anything, and you can't zoom in close enough or take a street-level view. The height for buildings is capped rather short for all buildings, and you can't connect buildings across upper floors to create archways between them (e.g. across roads or gardens). A strange but large paper-airplane shape sometimes pops up during construction. It can't be moved or change, but will disappear after a few minutes. The doors and windows sometimes disappear from buildings, leaving smooth walls. I have a lot of questions: What do farms do? And why no farm buildings? Or farmers? Why are hedges considerd "farms" and what do they do? What do churches do and why aren't there priests and nuns to work in them? What's the difference between apartments and hou…

If you love city builders but want to ditch the stress of objectives and management, this is a must-buy! It’s pure, creative building that perfectly blends Townscaper with the charm of Tiny Glade! I have very few complaints beyond some building/object placement restrictions, and having to return to the menu to change levels (unless I didn't notice a progression system). Tried this game out with quite a lot of excitement. The tools in the game are very basic and straight forward, really intuitive and easy to use. Going from a small group of houses to the entire map filled out didn't take too long. The game has so much potential, the grids it uses also do an incredible job at making layouts feel organic and natural, but make it difficult to create buildings that are symmetrical and have straight walls, such as cathedrals/churches, for example, which is also a build tool that the game specifically offers. Overall, the concept is very solid and the potential is massive, especially if you are given the liberty of choosing your own color palettes, switching between grid styles during building to spice things up a little. After 11 hours of gameplay, there are a couple things worth noting and here is my feedback to the developer(s) if they read this review. The game could use better optimization. Even with a high end PC, my computer struggles really badly to even just run the game once the map got filled out in a save file, although also probably worth mentioning that I built quite the thing, and would gladly share if it offers any insights on game op…

This is a nice cozy city builder, no costs, no management, just building. Overall, I reall like the full game. If you've played the demo than the full game adds a number of improvements. The walls are wonderful paired with the larger maps as you can actually build a city inside the walls. I also really liked the ability to place wells and statues, not to mention roads! There are some new maps and they're much bigger than the demo maps so you can make much larger builds. Having the ability to check the grid as an overlay can be helpful for seeing where to put (or not) buildings. The only real complaint I have is that there are no shops. You can place appartments, houses, cannals, churchs, keeps, walls, parks, lawns, crops, fountains and roads. However, there are no shops which can be a little frustrating if trying to build a full town.
