First look: incredible visual style and great idea. I love the Middle Ages theme. I love knights. The game combines a sandbox, RTS and tower defense in a strange way. The tutorial was as simple and clear as possible. But while I was completing the second order in the first mission, the enemies killed all my villagers. Heh, okay, I'll start from the beginning. The game has some minor bugs, but I hope the developer will fix them soon. Interesting experience, I recommend it.11 found this helpful
its fun, try it out. its cozy and unique, and most of al it has a great aesthetic. a little tip is to press N to disable fade mode to actually see what you have build. that said, it is still a little to buggy but i see the dev actively hotfixing stuff people adres. - i could not go trough with my island because everything got stuck, every character stood still, villagers stayed in there houses and the dragons became invincible. the first half hour saving and reloading worked. sadly this time it did not. - i run in to a problem where i can not delete certain buildings, the first 2 floors work, but after that it refuses to delete the last and it makes the 'not possible' sound. saving and reloading fixes it. -as i said throughout playing i keep having to save and reload the game because the characters stop moving around the island, saving and reloading fixed it. -when i deleted the merchant on accident, i could not replace it on its default place (the little island on the side) when i then places it on the main island, it keeps duplicating after reloading a save file, - i do not really like that you have to click in and out of the inventory/build menu every 2 seconds, i think it sh…4 found this helpful
I've been having some fun with this as a break from other things. The art style is quite sweet, and essentially you're creating structures using an animated planner to help work out just how to do it. For me, a big part of this has been not the figuring out what I need to do but figuring out how to do it. There's a bit of tower defence to it with waves of enemies who are beaten on a rock/paper/scissors kind of basis by units you can have deployed to protect your little peasants who farm away to pay for your construction. Couple of little things which could help me would be to make deleting what you've built a little easier to figure out, and some more screen options. But tiny indie game and dev has already dropped a hot fix on one little bug I ran into so credit to them already on that.4 found this helpful
I really want to like this game so I'm going to give it a positive review and hope that the dev will improve a few of these things- -I'm hoping for some updates that make building the blueprints more intuitive. Perhaps placing a ghost of the blueprint on the ground to make seeing what you are trying to build a bit simpler. -Additionally, I'm having issues with enemies spawning from nowhere. I get the need for challenge, but in the first non tutorial level I am being swamped by wolves and what I assume are heretics right away. -Also, combat is confusing and, well, jank. There are no death animations and my defenders seem to be hammering away at an endless stream of enemies and I have no idea if they are being even remotely effective. -Lastly, I have no music in my game? The music in the game trailer is very nice, why isn't it playing in my game. If some of these issues are addressed, this could end up being a very fun, hopefully low stress little builder with a cute aesthetic.3 found this helpful
