About Beso's Shawarma
It all begins with a cold call at 2:00 AM. Your friend, Levan, insists that you meet him at a new shawarma spot he found recently. You leave the safety of your apartment. You step into the cool, damp night. Beso's Shawarma is a short, first-person narrative experience. It's not a story about saving the world; it is a story about a single, bad night. Drawn in a low-fidelity PSX style, the game takes you on a linear journey through a fever-dream interpretation of Georgia's capital. From the claustrophobic concrete of a Soviet stairwell to streets that feel unnervingly wrong after dark.The city is empty, but you are not alone. Strange figures linger in the dark. Some want to talk. Some want to warn you. Others just want you to move out of the way. Every interaction leaves something behind.

eh, it's just like an itchio horor game, but on steam. I thought this one was weird and kinda funny though. I guess there's a 2nd ending or something, some collectibles to find if you wanna get more out of it, but yeah, it's short as hell3 found this helpful

I am left wondering if Beso's is even human under all the skin he possesses! I appreciate the themes of life trickling through as you meet people on your way to the shawarma joint. Will certainly need to play through again for alternate endings, the one i got was pretty dark though i don't imagine the others will be anymore soothing! The shawarma business isn't for the fainthearted!
Absolute cinema This game has genuinely awesome atmosphere thanks to its strong visuals and art style paired with that soothing music. As a fellow Tbilisi-residing Georgian i couldnt stop myself from enjoying all the references to this city. The 3 nabiji, the Indian courier, shua qalaqi playing on TV and many other things put smile on my face. Not only that, the game is full of political and philosophical messages, the sidequest of tearing the posters down, the morally complex character that is Levan. Absolutely recommended, especially for fellow Georgians and others who enjoy short horror games
