Beyond Solar

This game is awesome! It takes me back to the old Raiden arcade games back in the day. The nostalgia is dialed up to 11, and the story is actually surprisingly deep. Love the music, and the voice acting is amazing and immersive.

Fantastic work. I really enjoyed the aesthetics of the game, its very reminiscent of the games from that era. from an audio-visual stand point i think you guys nailed it. Plus the game is very fun and snappy with its gameplay and animations. I played it live in my Youtube channel and a lot of my audience appreciated the work done here. my only comments are: 1- The SFX need a little more balancing, some SFX are louder than others. 2- I liked the progression system via buying the ships equipment from the store, but items were very expensive which made the game feel more grindy than it needs, so i think the game will benefit by either dropping the prices of the equipment or increasing the currency gain you get from defeating enemies 3- I didn't find myself engaged with the story, and usually these types of game do away with the story entirely I thank you very much for giving me the chance to try out your new game, and i will definitely be following up with anything new with this project.

Game is top notch. The pixel art is seriously on point—the lighting on the ship and the way it pops against that desert canyon background is super clean. The whole vibe reminds me of the classic arcade shooters but with a much smoother, modern polish. Even the GUI/UI looks sleek; it’s not cluttered, so it feels like you can actually focus on the bullets without getting distracted by a messy HUD. One thing that would be huge for this is a Battle Royale or Survival Rivalry mode. Basically, a "Last Pilot Standing" setup where a group of players all try to survive the same waves at once. To make it competitive, you could have it so when one player grabs a power-up or hits a crazy combo, it sends extra "junk" or harder enemies over to the other players' screens. Being the last person flying in a bullet hell sounds intense as hell and would definitely keep people coming back to play with friends. Boss designs and the weapon upgrades look solid too—definitely a lot of potential here.

A frantic bullet hell action wrapped in pixel art. Waves of enemies fill the screen with intricate patterns. The visuals and chiptune soundtrack give me retro arcade feel - reminding me of something back in the SNES days, but I can't quite recall what it is. A solid pick for bullet hell lovers.

Overall, it’s a good game, but the pacing feels a bit slow. Sometimes you feel underpowered, or the enemies feel too strong, and I think the balance needs some improvement. Personally, I enjoy this type of game because I like feeling overwhelmed by the number of enemies and bullets coming my way. However, at the same time, I need weapons that can handle those situations and make me feel powerful. In this game, I don’t really get that feeling. Another issue is that I spend a lot of time farming to upgrade my arsenal . most of the time I can’t use the special abilities effectively before the stage ends, which makes the upgrades feel less rewarding. This review is based on the Early Access version.
