The side scroll survivors like with a great build repertory depending on the weapons you select, not the best graphics but the gameplay is addictive. Another of those shmup+survivors games that doesn't do enough to stack up against the better games in the genre like [b]Gunlocked[/b] or the roguelike; [b]Steredenn[/b]. There's 3 levels and they do get a bit repetitive. Worse is the slow speed that you unlock things, which heavily limits your weapon variety. You can play multiple runs without seeing a new weapon and be stuck with the same 2-3 builds. After I did have a few things unlocked I still lacked the desire to continue because I had still seen most of the weapons & abilities at my disposal and it was the same old levels still. I think for an unknown indie project this game shows a lot of promise, to the point that I wouldn't rule out trying a sequel. As it is though, the pacing of unlocks kills any joy you'd normally get from having weapon variety and the game would probably benefit from injecting some randomization in the levels, like providing more enemy patterns & boss encounters -that'd spice things up a bit.3 found this helpful

The game is exactly what it says it will be, a true hybrid of shmup and survivors game. I don't think it works as well as each of them individually but I only learned that via playing the game, and it's not bad as-is. It runs very well and I had zero technical problems playing under proton. There isn't much content but it's also only $5 and is definitely worth that.1 found this helpful
It's a fun roguelite shmup with meta tree. If you like the genre you'll love this one. Hope the Dev keeps updating it. <IXOYE><
