No idea why this is positively reviewed, the game is terrible simply for the fact it's completely riddled with bugs and glitches that make it unplayable as you cannot progress due to them. I simply gave up at the fire after trying 6 times to clear it but for some reason being unable to despite having the tool to do so. Game is terrible.

achievements broken, i screwed up a puzzle by plugging the plug in the wrong color outlet which is on me but afterwards could not remove it which seems like kinda crappy to do since its needed for progression but anyway my real problem is the game basically punishes you the first time you actually explore anything and in both cases i tried its basically 50-50 that you go to the right persona nd speak to them first to help the other person in time. which seems... weird. not to mention a 30 second countdown timer starts and both times the first time youll have no clue why or how to stop it. i just feel like the game is flicking my nuts. oh yeah btw when i got softlocked and had to start over i realized the opening cut scene which is just still images and text is unskippable. really my guy? really?

"Beyond the Marion" is a promising enough premise, delivered badly. This is a first person adventure game with a plodding pace. I liked the way the game puts you in a 1970's aesthetic space ship adventure. I didn't like the way it's a bug riddled mess that barely works, has a weak plot and an even weaker core gameplay design. Plodding around and then running into puzzle minigames that don't work due to blatantly untested bugs is a fantastic way to take a great premise and ruin it just as fast as the $100 they wasted on Steam Direct for this mess. Despite not being in Early Access, it's obvious this is an incomplete product. Developers have an obligation to deliver complete, not partially done products to gamers, that shouldn't be controversial. Whatever the excuses may be, it does no service to gamers for incomplete products polluting Steam like this. It makes it harder for gamers to find complete games, and it makes it harder for ethical developers who do the right thing to find their audience. The graphics in this game are passable, but could be better. And while it's vital for any game to have impressive visuals (gaming is a visual medium, after all), there's more to a…

The achievements do not work, but other than that: no complaints. Really cool little adventure.

This game was awful. I dipped after having everything reset after the third attempt at fixing the generator with the awful timing system that kills you.
