Been on my wishlist since 2019, it's going to be weird to see it gone after all this time. Was the wait worth it? Probably not. Is the game fun? I suppose for the price, sure. It's a visual novel. Some spelling and grammar mistakes here and there, but passable for English speakers. You basically start the game and are instantly thrown into a series of waves of battles with next to nothing explained. Turn based oldschool battles, which I personally like. Combat is very straightforward, but it's a complete mystery at times, and as a result, a single wasted turn can mean the difference between living and dying. Take the skill "Rotten Food" which is described ingame as "Do feed the troll, after all!" and that's it. Is it an attack? A buff? It's just up to you to sacrifice your precious few turns to try to figure it out, all the while you're getting absolutely ragdolled by the enemies. Status effects are a complete mystery. Sometimes in battle, I'll just not be able to attack. Is it because I'm debuffed? Is it hunger? Who knows! I have a bunch of icons on my character, like an egg, a cloud, a star. Maybe the cloud means it's overcast and I can't see? Who knows! Game is also rid…10 found this helpful
