About BlastFort
BlastFort is a free-to-play multiplayer side-scrolling shooter! With a wide selection of weapons and unique special items, gameplay is fun for everyone! Fight along side your friends in Classic Mode, challenge your friends to a duel in Arena Mode, or play a unique game set with Soccer Mode! Use your weapons and special items to get as far as possible before AI takes over!
BlastFort offers three unique multiplayer modes and up to 10 players in multiplayer matches for everyone to enjoy in their own way, while still using the same base mechanics! Classic mode spawns endless waves of enemies that get progressively harder! Arena mode pits you against up to 9 other players in a free-for-all fight to see who is the last one standing! And soccer mode puts players into two teams to see who can take supremacy over the soccer field and get more goals than the opponent(s)!
BlastFort also offers 20 unique items/weapons, and tens of unlockable/purchasable player skins! Fight off robots with a heavy Minigun! Blast them with a laser beam with the powerful Beacon Gun! Freeze enemies in place with the Sub-Zero Rifle! Use special items, like the Teleporter to get out of tricky situations! Or the Machine Turret to guard some area for you!

Broken. Avoid. • No hint that GTK 3 for i386 is needed. • Doesn't work with Steam's runtime environment (needs a newer libdbus). • With those locally fixed, it still just segfaults. The developers have had plenty of time to respond to [url=https://steamcommunity.com/app/1682790/discussions/0/3199243752767524005/]my report of these problems[/url]. You can botmatch, but I'd rather eat broken glass, and the Steam player counts show nobody bothered with that either. There's a lot of bells and whistles (and disgusting monetisation), so we have most certainly a lot of lipstick on a dead pig here. So, "BlastFort" is a dead PvP game. Why did it fail? It's video game autopsy time! [i]Almost every PvP exclusive game on Steam fails.[/i] Only a tiny proportion of them "go viral". This game failed for many of the same reasons those others fail. The chief of which is the developer thinking that their game will "go viral" without actually creating any reason for it do so. Competition amongst PvP centric games is extreme, and there's only a finite player base to appeal to. This game failed to reach any kind of critical mass and died as a result. Let's go into some of the reasons this particular game failed to appeal to gamers, despite the zero up front cost…
[h1]Before I played BlastFort, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good[/h1]
