Broken. Avoid. • No hint that GTK 3 for i386 is needed. • Doesn't work with Steam's runtime environment (needs a newer libdbus). • With those locally fixed, it still just segfaults. The developers have had plenty of time to respond to [url=https://steamcommunity.com/app/1682790/discussions/0/3199243752767524005/]my report of these problems[/url]. No response at the time of writing this review.

You can botmatch, but I'd rather eat broken glass, and the Steam player counts show nobody bothered with that either. There's a lot of bells and whistles (and disgusting monetisation), so we have most certainly a lot of lipstick on a dead pig here. So, "BlastFort" is a dead PvP game. Why did it fail? It's video game autopsy time! [i]Almost every PvP exclusive game on Steam fails.[/i] Only a tiny proportion of them "go viral". This game failed for many of the same reasons those others fail. The chief of which is the developer thinking that their game will "go viral" without actually creating any reason for it do so. Competition amongst PvP centric games is extreme, and there's only a finite player base to appeal to. This game failed to reach any kind of critical mass and died as a result. Let's go into some of the reasons this particular game failed to appeal to gamers, despite the zero up front cost…
