Blood Bear

Blood Bear is a great game, and worth the price of admission. Dark forest setting, creepy ambience, and music. It's meant to be played in one setting, so it can be short if you just run thru and complete the mission. Maybe an hour. If you want to explore all the locations and get all the goodies, it can be stretched out. It's worth it to look for all the game has to offer. Anyway I'm not going to write a diatribe, so pick this game up, and share some screen shots while you're at it.

This game was short but a lot of fun! There needs to be more games featuring bears, it is such an unused theme. For $7this game is well worth the price and can't wait to see what else the developer comes up with!

I was disapointed when the game started but i guess it the dev first game so i cut him some slack. its like those indie horror games that you found on itch. need a bit of polishing and animation. other than that it was less than ok.

It Needs more fixes, i couldnt get into a rocky cave and i went around then got stuck on some rocks, It has potential to be a good game

Pretty decent game, beat it in under an hour. The game is reminiscent of BIGFOOT and that one old "Rake" game, where you're placed in the middle of the woods, wandering around collecting resources to preent hunger and prepare for battle. Though most of the game is well made, it seems like the size of the map is greater than appropriate for a game of its size. I won't complain about having a large map in a game where exploration is the focus for survival, but I only came around maybe a quarter or less of the discoverable locations and I did completely fine. Two other things: The final boss was underwhelming and easy to defeat, also lacking any interesting abilities. The Blood Bear itself, though the titular antagonist, did not feel like much of a threat. Other small bugs I came across included being able to walk through large stones randomly, holding shift taking away energy even without moving, and the Blood Bear appearing but standing still until eventually vanishing, and being able to reload your gun even if it's already been reloaded. That being said, it's relatively cheap, killed nearly an hour, and is fairly competently built. 6/10
