Bloody Hallowfest is a horror game with a retro visual style, inspired by some classic B-series horror films from the 90s.
On the night before Halloween, Maya and her friends gather at the summer camp, eager to set up a special event for the youngsters. Together, they deck out the place and prepare games for Halloween night (kids love hunting for pumpkins and taking a swing at the pinata filled with sweets and candies!). What starts as a fun night takes a horrifying turn when a stranger, wielding a bloodied axe, barges in and snuffs out everyone's lives.
Now, Maya is forced to run for her life. As she unravels the escape plan, she also delves into a sinister secret behind the killer and the motives that led to such a massacre. Will Maya manage to escape the nightmare and confront the truth, or perhaps her blood will mingle with that of her friends on the cold steel of the killer's axe?

Had fun, spent around 80 mins to beat the first time with friends in a discord vc while being very cautious, then about 30 mins to beat it knowing what is all there to see if there was multiple endings (there isn't from what i've seen but didn't check especially hard), it's possible to go faster but not 20 mins fast IMO. A thing you want to know is that there is no saves, if you leave the game and reopen it you get sent back to the start but, it's not a problem from my experience and when you die you don't get sent to the start as the game has checkpoints and i never felt like it was an issue of being tedious to get back to where you died. Spoiler of something i somewhat didn't like but it's not a deal breaker more like a don't do this on your next game dev: [spoiler]There was a section of where you shoot the killer but your in tight confines and it feels like the killer is a bit fast, you out speed him but you have to learn the room and kite him which at the speed you both go is somewhat difficult and feels a bit more like not the best game design instead of a skill issue[/spoiler].Summary: Worth the price, here for a good time not a long time but doesn't feel really short, decent…1 found this helpful
I recommend this game.
A fun little game! Get it on sale. From reading the reviews I knew going into this one that it was gonna be pretty short, but in experience it turned out to be even shorter than expected - for best expectations probably think of it like a game jam piece, since that's really what it feels like. The atmosphere is definitely there, if a bit sparse, and it does feel like the few areas are a little bit spread out just to try to squeeze some more gameplay time in, but it's still plenty good. If this were to get filled out a bit I could see it being a spectacular entry in the genre!
Nowhere on the level of Quantum Resonance or Deadly Night, but I can gripe too much considering the price.
One of the best Halloween time games to play! Story was great, game was great and everything else was great. Dont pass this one up!
