Boxville is an adventure puzzle game about speechless cans living in the city of boxes and drawing doodles on cardboards to tell the stories.
Boxville is good for playing alone to dive into the atmosphere and challenge your brain with sophisticated logic puzzles and riddles, or playing with a friend or family to share unique audio-visual experiences and solve the puzzles together.

Design
The core idea of the game is that it’s not just a game - but also an animated film that you can watch and play at the same time.
We designed Boxville’s gameplay with the purpose of taking away your anxiety and stress. You can explore and observe the world without rushing and pressure.
The game is full of environmental quests and logical puzzles that we have carefully picked from among hundreds of options.
Story
Boxville is a city of boxes populated with old cans. They live quiet and happy lives with their everyday routines and habits. But one day, unexplained earthquakes disturbed their idyll...
Blue Can (our hero) lost his best friend because of that. He started his search but it is not so easy to move through the city after earthquakes. He has to find a way to move forward, return the friend back home and discover the real reason for all those earthquakes. There are many adventures, new friends and it’s not only friends that are waiting for him on the way.
He has to be curious, inventive, careful, and to help others, to reach his goal.
What you can expect to see and hear in Boxville:
- Hand-drawn graphics — all backgrounds and characters are carefully drawn by our artists.
- Every animation and sound is created especially for each interaction.
- Unique music track was created for every scene to accomplish the atmosphere of the game.
- Tens of logical puzzles and mini-games are tightly incorporated into the story of the game.
- There are no words in the game — all characters communicate via cartoony speechbubbles.

The game tells its story almost entirely through visuals and symbols rather than spoken or written dialogue. What it does well ✅ Beautiful Hand-Drawn Art Every location is packed with detail and personality. The world feels like an animated storybook brought to life. ✅ Visual Storytelling Characters communicate through pictures and symbols. The lack of traditional dialogue makes the game accessible and charming. ✅ Engaging Puzzles Most puzzles are logical and integrated naturally into the environment. Solving them feels rewarding without becoming overly complicated. ✅ Atmosphere The game creates a warm, whimsical mood while still delivering emotional moments. just a really fun and short experience, puzzles are fairly fun and simple and it's seemingly in the style of machinarium but with brighter and unrusted visuals the city is clearly quite expansive but we only get to see a small part of it, so i would say the game is worth it despite how short it is
This game. Beautiful art, cozy gameplay, and very charming! A must have if you are into puzzle games.
I love this game for the storyline, the artwork, the puzzles and the asmr.
I adore these kinds of games. So cute, perfect flow...although, I wish there was a hint system. Not that zero hints meant you could not figure it out, but some moments, I felt confused on where to go and what to do next. All in all, I enjoyed this game very much.
I must admit, I have troubles to suggest this game because of it's short gameplay duration. Sure, I would have needed more time if I wouldn't have peeked into a walkthrough from time to time, but you should decide if that really makes such a big difference? The puzzles itself and the cute story with it's beautiful graphical-environment are for sure a big plus point and the fact that you are supporting the Ukraine with it during those harsh times are another reason for investing a bit more money for a shorter game. But personally I will hope the developers will decide to add at least an option later, in which we can replay all the puzzles again (you aren't able to make mutliple save folders by yourself here).
