About Brány Skeldalu 2: Pátý učedník
Disclosure
Please note that this is a very old game, originally published in 2002. It is still fun, but it runs on a 4:3 screen ratio, and a lot has happened in the gaming industry between 2002 and now.The hero can be a scoundrel!
Engeor, a first-year student at the magical university, becomes one of many victims of the Moharn dictator Wahargem, who is considered a living legend. More than ten years ago, he stood on the highest floor of the Skeldal Tower and, along with his comrades, won the victorious battle at the gate to the forbidden dimension of Zohar. But even a legend does not have the right to destroy someone's life, so Engeor decides to confront not only him but also his own fate.Genre Combination
The point-and-click adventure, a genre so popular in the nineties, has been supplemented with RPG character development, where the main hero learns spells that are used not only in hexagonal turn-based battles but also for solving adventure tasks. What Steam players say

This is a really, REALLY poor excuse for a "game" that has nothing in common with its predecessor or sequel in terms of "gameplay." Instead of a party-based, first-person RPG with sharp controls and gear progression, you have a single guy running around with exactly one useful spell in Fireball, no equipment, and no clear goal. You alternate between these awkward to control segments that are meant to resemble a point-and-click adventure game (except literal children's games work better) and hex-based combat in which you spam Fireball until everything is dead. There's no strategy necessary. You just push "Fireball," and either the enemies die first or you roll poorly and they smack you to death. You can probably brute-force your way through the first couple hours of the game, but eventually you'll hit a fortress where the "solution" is "exploit REALLY unintuitive coding decisions that were intentionally made by the developers." It was at this point I uninstalled the game and moved onto "7 Mages," which is far superior in every way. If the story was engaging, that would be at least one reason to suffer through the second game in a trilogy (we've all done that before). Unfortunately…1 found this helpful
Love RPG? Make sure to Follow my Curator Page for plenty more!
A dark, atmospheric blend of point-and-click adventure and rpg. I liked the story itself; it's a direct continuation of the first game. The turn-based battles, while a bit simple, still require some strategy, but the puzzles... you won't find any logic here. Is it worth playing? I'm afraid it will only appeal to old-school fans. ✔️7/10 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Yd_DFYTUaw
And don't forget to Subscribe to my Youtube

Join my Steam Group
1 found this helpful
