About Brew or Die

Brew or Die. Literally!Waking up to a knock on the door, you find an unambiguous letter: a huge debt, the deadline for which is approaching very soon. The jokes are over. Your only chance to save your skin is to revive a long-abandoned shop. Thus begins your desperate (and somewhat crazy) adventure.Your new weapon? Potions! Digging through the junk, you stumble upon an old textbook on potion-making, inherited from your father. Brilliant! After all, what could be more in demand in this village than magical brews? But there's a catch: there are no ingredients. And the most valuable (and dangerous) components – like the fangs of swamp creatures or the eyes of forest spirits – can only be obtained in dungeons. What awaits you:
1. Become an Adventurer: Obtain a license from the Guild of Adventurers. Without it, the path to mysterious dungeons teeming with monsters is closed.
2. Risk Your Life: Explore various dangerous locations in semi-turn-based battles. Fight monsters, gather rare plants, and... harvest necessary "organics."
3. Brew and Survive: Use your loot for crafting and potion-making! Experiment with recipes, create healing, combat, and just plain strange potions.
4. Transform the Shop: Sell your creations! Upgrade your shop – expand your inventory, make displays more attractive, raise prices (after all, the debt is not small!).
5. Grow the Foundation: Start a garden! Gardening is the key to stable supplies of simpler, yet equally important ingredients for your potions. Can you turn the chaos of dungeons and the magic of the cauldron into gold coins? Manage the shop, take risks on adventures, brew, sell, and fend off creditors in Brew or Die – a game where potion-making is a matter of life, debt, and... potential wealth!

Ok was so excited for this game. Bought it as soon as I saw it was released. Sounded so up my alley - turn based simple combat and a little farming on the side while running a shop. Its maybe "too" early, or maybe its just me. Its incredibly off balanced in its early days. This is what I personally found challenging: -no tutorial at all so it look me 4 restarts to figure out how to do basics -getting smoked by level 1 slimes (with armor) un-fun -my last 5 green slimes I killed and picked up their green slime it does not even go to my (nearly empty) inventory. Animation happens showing it go into your bag, but nothing goes in the actual inventory, so cannot do the quest. -without the quests you are getting 5 gold for crystals which is barely enough to keep buying mushroom soup to go in again and not be able to pick up loot. -havent even gotten close to being able to farm because if you buy the sword good luck ever having enough money to also buy a hoe - the cycle is combat 5 slimes - buy 2 mushroom soup to heal - combat 5 slimes - buy 2 mushroom soup. -saved up my money for 8 dungeon runs and bought the level 2 sword it broke on the first slime - ughh... After 2.5 hours its f…

I thought I buy a game and learn how to brew beer. As a result: he saved the world from zombies, opened a brewery in a bunker and realized that hops are more important than bread. The only game where a hangover is treated with a new recipe, not a pickle.

One of the many simulators of a shop owner and an adventurer in one person. So far, the game is still in the very early stages of development, because there are not so many enemy mobs/items/locations, but it seems that the developers are serious about this project. Well... Let's see
