About Brunch Club

PLEASE NOTE - Some modes can be played solo, but most are designed to be played with friends.
Local Multiplayer and Local Co-op only, but with Steam Play Together or PARSEC you can play over the internet with your friends too!

The Main Course -
In the main game you can play solo or work together with friends to complete the levels before time runs out! It doesn’t stop there though, online leader boards mean that it’s not good enough to just complete when you can compete! Can you get the quickest time?

Teams of scientists spent at least 5 minutes studying the movement behaviour of inanimate objects and foods to deliver an accurate and interesting way of baking your way to victory.

Each level has a mechanic inspired by the film from which it takes its namesake. Whether avoiding sniper fire in Fry Hard or waiting for the ever changing seasons in Game of Cones, each level will force you to adapt to achieve the quickest time possible.

Recipe For Disaster! -
We never said this was going to be easy! Its try, try and fry again in Brunch Club and it is an experience of hardship, if you make a mistake its game over and the level will reset! Communication, delegation and keeping your cool are all important to making sure you gain your well deserved victory.

Who Needs Friends Anyway? -
Whether you play solo or with friends, we’ve got you covered. The more people you have the less time you have to complete the level, because more people makes it easier right? We’ll soon see about that.

FACE/OFF -
Face/off will pit 2 players against each other in quick round based frantic food action to see who comes out on top. Do you try and complete the task as quickly as possible or attempt to interrupt your opponent? Friendships will be torn apart as you cook, jump and roll your way to victory!

More On The Menu! -
It's not just cooking in Brunch Club, we have other game modes for when the stress of the main games gets a bit too much. Whether you're navigating your way through checkpoints in Five Second Rule or Slamming, charging and dodging your way to sumo victory in Riceball Rumble there is something for everyone.

No Controller? No Problem -
You can play 1 or 2 players on the same keyboard, and you can mix and match with controllers too!

This game is intended for a local co-op party experience. For instance, the lack of a tutorial is meant as a moment of hilarity as you and your friends figure what are the controls, how to play the game, what to do in order to accomplish the objective -- all while under the pressure a time limit and depending on the difficulty, the number of mistakes allowed for a given level. Nonetheless, it plays well as a solo player experience as well, and the game design allows for it. In the solo player experience, you can move certain obstacles that allow you to stack and then climb in order to reach certain objectives. It becomes a puzzle for what you can do while struggle to handle other objects since you cannot move most objects that have other objects on top of them. Some objects even has unspecified interactions with other objects or parts of the level. Even when you beat a level once, you can try to be faster or try to cook up additional objectives to get a higher score. The best part of the game is the music, and I am sadden that I cannot seem to find any places to find a dedicated OST with the gameplay noises. The game is filled with lo-fi retro music that are both parts calming an…

Fun physics based multiplayer game. Nothing wrong with it, I just wish it had more game modes. Still a good fun game with friends when you have nothing else to play

I decided to give this game a try regardless of the negative reviews since it looks amusing. In my opinion this is a fun game with a variety of levels and the style is also nice however I can't recommend due to the limited time to complete the levels. The main issue is that it could have been enjoyable with more time (not the 5-6 mins per game)... And the difficulty is hard even on 'easy' for most of them, 'medium' is horrible. I can't even begin to think how the hard one must be like since I was struggling on the other 2 in co-op and solo. I believe the difficulty level wasn't thought through with how limiting it is. I do have to say 'easy' mode with no mistake strikes and no enemy attacks do help compared to the medium level. Honestly there should have been a relax mode with no timer or at least double. It would have been amazing. The arcade is nice but there's only 4 mini-games. The versus mode is fun too which seems like the only really optimized one as you can pick how many items to complete to win (again time is kind of an issue but less) against the other player(s) instead of the dreadful main course with some number of items being barely passable. On discount at around 1$ (…

BRUNCH AT ALL COSTS

Brunch Club, developed by Foggy Box Games and published by Yogscast Games, is a physics-driven party game that blends culinary chaos with lighthearted humor. The core concept revolves around players attempting to prepare, cook, and serve dishes under increasingly hectic conditions, all while contending with unpredictable physics and environmental challenges. From the outset, it is clear that the game prioritizes fun and absurdity over realism, creating a chaotic playground where mistakes are as entertaining as successes. The simplicity of the premise belies the complexity of the gameplay, as players must coordinate movements and actions precisely to complete tasks efficiently, often leading to moments of frantic hilarity. The game’s levels are uniquely inspired by popular films, each bringing its own set of challenges and comedic twists. In one scenario, players might find themselves dodging hazards while flipping pancakes, while another level introduces changing environmental conditions that affect the preparation of dishes. These thematic variations keep gameplay fresh and encourage players to adapt quickly to new mechanics, blending creativity with problem-solving. However, the…

It is dreadful to trying to figure out the controls on PC, with dev noticed the issue in 2019 it's still not fixed. The whole game just feels like a tedious task to me.
