I truly wanted to like this game but it is just awful. It is rather ugly, there are much better versions of this very gametype of the "Match 3 Bubble" like games out there and it won't even stop producing the colors that you don't need like so many other games like this does. I would truly pass on this one.6 found this helpful
Bubble Rush is a 2D (but 3D rendered) ripoff of Puzzle Bobble/Bust-A-Move (copyright Taito 1994). It's an old 1990's arcade cabinet game, and thematic ripoff of Tetris, where you're presented with a structure of coloured bubbles that slowly inch down the screen one bump at a time. You can avert disaster by shooting more bubbles at the structure (hence the Tetris part). Matching three coloured bubbles makes them pop and also eliminates any other bubbles hanging exclusively off the bubbles you pop. Great idea Taito, you did well. Not so much for the shameless ripoff artists at Bernard Bell, who took someone else's game, re-rendered it and slapped their own name on it as if it was their game. It isn't, and I'll refer to Taito's copyright as evidence. There's some other minigames included by overall it's clear this was just a direct intention to try cash in on Taito's game. No wonder gamers have shunned it. The technical implementation is very poor, while you can change the resolution, there's no other useful graphics tweaks, so that disqualifies this for an acceptable PC game. Controls are also locked, and you can't even aim with the mouse... clearly when ripping off the 1…2 found this helpful
