Bum: Revenge is a first-person open-world sandbox built around dark comedy, street survival, crime, and deliberately chaotic situations. Instead of presenting the familiar story of a powerful criminal building an empire, it begins with its protagonist already at rock bottom. After losing his former life and ending up homeless, he must survive on the streets while pursuing revenge and attempting to regain influence. Developed and published by Scandal Games, the project combines survival mechanics, exploration, combat, scavenging, crafting, faction progression, and cooperative multiplayer into an intentionally crude experience that clearly values unpredictable situations over realism. The central premise gives the game an unusual foundation. The protagonist was once an important figure in his neighborhood before a disastrous confrontation left his life in ruins. Months later, he finds himself homeless, divorced, and struggling with substance dependency. Revenge provides the broader motivation, but much of the actual experience revolves around surviving from one day to another.
