Cake Game Review (Disclaimer - This is just my opinion and may be unpopular or disliked.) 1. This game is a very casual merge puzzle game with a sweet tooth theme. 2. The goal is to merge sweet together in a glass jar to get the biggest cake in the end without letting any sweet treats fall out. 3. The game can be played while waiting for things to install, or just when you dunno what to do as I found it surprisingly relaxing. 4. I had initially though that it would bore me quickly as it is very simple and repetitive, but something about how the stuff merged together, etc was just very relaxing. 5. A negative point can be that sometimes treats glitch through the glass and cause your run to end early, or unplanned, but that isn't too bad. 6. The graphics were decent and the game looks pretty. The sweet treats also look super tasty, which is a bonus if you are a sweet tooth.

"Cake Game" is basically a ripoff of Suika, the Japanese mobile phone/Flash game where you drop fruit in a bucket. What do you do in the game? Just like Suika but with cakes, and in 3D, you have a deep glass bowl and you drop cakes in. The goal is to get two cakes of the same type to touch together, where, just like Suika, they combine to form a slightly larger cake. Which you then also try to combine to make an even bigger cake type. This is not how baking works. Bakers don't make wedding cakes by throwing a whole bunch of cupcakes into a bucket. Is it too hard to ask for a little realism in gaming? Anyway this is pretty mediocre and like all the other Suika ripoffs, the game physics are bad and the fun wears off after 5 minutes. Being 3D rendered makes this probably one of the better Suika ripoffs on Steam, but you don't get any awards for being the best looking guy in the burns ward. This feels more like a tech demo or a project smacked together hurriedly to try make a kind of minimum viable product just good enough to pass the developers unambitious idea and shove it into Steam Direct to see if you can actually pay $100 and publish junk through Steam Direct. God forbid you play this game while hungry, the 3d models look too delicious. On another note, I don't have the patience to play when I lose three times in a row to the cake ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gaining sentience and flying out, while combining

Woah can't believe this game is free. It's like the Suika fruit game in 3D but with nice pasty instead. I was surprised that it worked with controllers on ROG Ally.
