Caladrius Blaze features not only the Shame Break system where you can view fantastic eye-candy cut-in graphics for both the playable characters and the bosses as they take damage and clothes are cut away, but also beautiful graphics and sound from star-studded production with character designer, Yasuda Suzuhito, famous for his work in Durarara!! and Devil Survivor, and Basiscape, who handled the sound in Oboro Muramasa.
In the Story Mode fully voiced by star voice actors, you can enjoy the storyline of each unique character in the emerging world based on a gothic horror worldview. With two-player coop mode, you can experience even more varied storyline based on the combination of characters.
In addition, there are many contents to enjoy other than the Story Mode such as the Rush mode and the Score Attack Mode. There is a Tutorial Mode for beginners, Leaderboard for online ranking, and Gallery Mode for viewing cut-in images and other graphics.

Recommended. 8/10* Good lucking HD graphics, both 2d art and 3d models, its a shame that the game resolution can't be changed and its stuck at 720p, good music, good voice acting, great controls and great gameplay, because the screen is horizontal and the scene movement its vertical i though it was going to be a nightmare to play, but because enemy bullets are slow it was enjoyable to play. The game has achievements and steam cards, and it goes for cheap on sale, cant complain much.1 found this helpful
i'm just a gooner seriously it's a really good shmup with pretty designs, levels, soundtrack, and a lot of different characters with their own motivations, also has a very easy difficulty if you're afraid, it seems like it's locked in 720p and audio is pretty low resolution but it's fine imo and for controller support just enable steam input.1 found this helpful
don't shame-break me!
I really enjoyed the challenge of playing this game on PS4, but if I try to go fullscreen on PC, everything gets blown up so much that I can only see the upper left corner of the game screen.

One of my favorite SHMUPs ever. An incredible array of different ship & weapon types, beautiful 3D graphics & a soundtrack on-par with CastleVania. You can unlock the ability to play two ships at once, which is one of my favorite features in any SHMUP ever. Highly recommended.
