I received this game for free, and had a "commitment" to stream this game. I have searched for a way to privately contact the Devs, but no luck, so sadly, im having to leave my review here along with why I will not be steaming this game. I am an advocate for indie devs and supporting them, and avoiding publicly giving a negative opinion on something that can be helped/fixed, but when I have a commitment and 0 ways to contact when there's issues, i have no other choice. I will start off saying that the scenery is beautiful, and there's potential for this game, however if they don't reach its potential soon (and i mean ASAP) this game will just be a flop. The translations in the game are terrible, often giving instructions that do not make sense, leaving it a guessing game and causing frustration that takes away from the "relaxing" vibe the game goes for. There is literally 0 replay-ability and nothing interesting. you start by standing next to your car, you "unpack" your essentials by clicking them and placing them in the designated spot. you walk around collecting rubbish and mushrooms. guessing how to complete the tasks that are repetitive, boring and just slow. This is a chill-out-after-work kinda game (tip: add a smidge of cannibas). If you have $6 and your back hurts you should probably get this.3 found this helpful
I have played 22 minutes and feel like I have already seen all that the game has to offer, unpack car struggle with inconsistent mechanics that works when and if they feel like and then pack away in car and repeat but I did not even get to repeat because I encountered a bug preventing me from putting the last item away so I had no choice but to quit the game. there was no actual vlog element to this game beyond just placing non interactive phone prop on the ground. Maybe this game would have some potential to be anything other than boring and broken if they fixed the bugs and added more substance to the game play maybe even have some vlogging in the camping vlog simulator.1 found this helpful
You have 5 maps. You select a map, set up your camp, go to sleep, put it all back in your car and leave. Gameplay loop is ultra-simple. You won't get much more than an hour out of this (maybe two if your kids want to try it out), but for what it is, and when discounted, it's cute.
