I'd say I'm in the middle of the road on this game. I've had it on my wishlist since 2023 or maybe earlier. I decided to give it a try despite the negative reviews. I downloaded the demo first and then decided to buy. First, the camera control is really weird. I got used to it - kind of, but I also played this for a while. That being said - 12 hours of gameplay - and I'm a bit sure of what is going on. The tutorial helps a bit in understanding how to do some things, but it doesn't help explain why. There are Goals and Traits but nowhere does it explain what the advantages are for. Eventually you kind of find out that advancing them triggers interactions with some NPCs around campus. But also, it sometimes triggers objectives that "aren't ready yet" so, the character is there with the "!" above their head, but you can't do anything with them. There is a lot of running around campus constantly. The map gets glitchy at times. The camera control is so strange that it's actually hard to remember where things are (it messes with my sense of direction). There are objects to find, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. Great idea. Poor execution. Time runs incredibly too fast for the player to play realistically without running back and forth to classes. I cannot even progress in the game past the first day because the Modern Art class causes the game to glitch within the first 30 minutes of gameplay.3 found this helpful
i don't know why everyone is hating on this game. i'm really enjoying it. i do hope there will be romantic relationships in the near furture but overall it's a nice chill game.3 found this helpful

This review honestly makes me a little sad. This is a game I usually would love, I like sims and building skills and such, but as I was playing the game I thought to myself "this is obviously a work in progress, I can't wait to see where this goes." But after joining the discord it seems that the devs have completely abandoned the game. No hotfixes since september 2025, not answering any of the messages, no announcements I can find. So I decided to request a refund. I will be playing in the future if they start this up again, but not for now.
