Lucky me has the dubious privilege of writing the first review for "Candy gun". "Candy gun" is another GameMaker Studio asset flip from serial copy+paste infringers, wow wow Games. All these guys do is rip off game templates and projects from the Yoyogames/GameMaker Studio store and try to scam people into paying for someone else's work on Steam. It's nothing but a cash grab. This is wow wow Game's latest copy+paste of a GameMaker Studio template/asset. This time they've ripped off a basic template/tutorial for a match-3 Zuma/Luxor ripoff, with some stock art "candy" sprites from somewhere. Asset flips and other "Fake games" (as Valve calls them) are harmful to the industry, because they pollute the marketplace and reduce the visibility and exposure needed by genuine indie developers. In line with dishonest asset flippers, the game was dumped immediately at launch into DailyIndieGame shovelware bundles. It's overpriced at a laughable $10 USD. Even if this wasn't just an asset flip, it would be garbage. Impossible to recommend.
