Cannon Clicker

A fun and addictive little game. A bit grindy, but that is part of the loop. I enjoy trying out different starts and deciding between unlocks and upgrades. It is great to just forget the time and squeeze in a few rounds in between the main games. For the price of a beer, this is pretty good value for money. One bit that is a bit annoying is that grenades are still thrown even after the guy has been killed. Runs smoothly and no crashes.

Perfect game at this price point - simple, enjoyable, recommended.

So, I received this game from the devs, but... It just is not fun. The grind required to even get past the first level is rather unfair and unearned by the game itself. Then when you finally get past the first level and get a new character, you can't even use them without spending even more resources. I had to repeat the first level approximately 12 times with no real changes in how it went before I finally got to the second one. This just was a very unenjoyable experience, but maybe it'll be better once it is actually released.

[h1]Action-Packed WWII Incremental[/h1] I've been following Cannon Clicker since the beginning, so while this review mostly reflects my experience with the latest version of the game, I've also had the chance to see how it has evolved over time. And it's definitely been evolving in the right direction. The developers have listened to player feedback and acted on it, while also bringing in plenty of their own improvements and new ideas. The recent patches have made an already enjoyable game even better. [h2]Gameplay[/h2] The gameplay itself is simple to get into but very satisfying. At its core, each battle is a classic tug-of-war, with the frontline constantly shifting back and forth as both sides send more units into the fight. What I like about it is that the order in which units are spawned - and when you spawn them - actually matters. The way soldiers move across the battlefield makes for some entertaining chaos, with bullets and grenades flying everywhere. Playing the game rewards you with different currencies, bullets being the primary one, which you can spend to work through the upgrade tree. Each unit type has its own separate upgrade path, alongside improvements for your…

Strategy matters. Captivating gameplay. Worth the money. Looking forward to the DLC.
