About CannonCraft

"CannonCraft" is a real-time strategy game that simulates modern missile warfare. On the dark land, players cannot see each other, and whoever fires the first shot may be attacked by other forces. All forces hide themselves, quietly develop their economy, detect the enemy's situation, and build howitzers, Bazookas, Railgun, ICBMs, nuclear bombs, etc offensive weapons. The native creatures on the land will unite to destroy your development, and the enemies will also launch various long-range weapons to destroy you. You can build a defense system like the "Iron Dome" to intercept air threats; you can also steal a march on others, or decisively fight back. The game is designed with dozens of technologies that can be freely combined and dozens of high-precision weapons, which greatly enriched the long-term game experience. "CannonCraft" creatively combines tower defense with RTS, creating a unique experience of missile battle royale.

Quite often, it's unclear why the game isn't exactly responsive, when clicking on a valid tile, I occasionally had moments when it did nothing at all. I sometimes even feel like at the start it suffers from frameskips. The gameplay loop is nothing to write home about. It's basically be the fastest to rush through building your base. The start also is really weird, most of the game can be played with just the mouse, however, just the start is controlled with WASD, something that isn't used that much for the rest of the game if at all. After that, it's just upgrading and placing defense towers while placing offense towers, sending out scouts or, as the game calls it, spies. Spies after a certain point are pretty much useless anyway. Once the enemy attacks you, you already know from which direction they come, which means you can just send out a spy somewhere in that direction and be done with it, if the enemy hasn't already been eliminate…
