Canto I

Weird little Bug Guy !

Its an alright 2d platformer and I did enjoy the first two levels. However there are some issues with gameplay consistency that made the third level an incredible pain to finish and the fourth and final level contains a boss fight with no real pattern between attempts. The biggest problem I have is that the player character can't seem so sit still ever, as he'll just start to slide to the left or right colliding with traps, enemies, or sliding just enough to drop you down a pit. Another issue is also a skill issue as I genuinely don't know if the dash ability gives i frames or not or even if it's supposed to, which really makes the boss fight annoying as you'll easily get cornered, then when you take your hands off the controls you'll slide into the boss and take a hit with no chance to recover health in the final battle. I did enjoy playing the first half of the game but these issues spoiled my overall enjoyment of the game. If the sliding bug can be fixed I would love to change this review to positive.

One of the most annoying platformers, like why does it move you so far after you stop???? I thought it was a precision platformer, but there's no way to be precise with such mechanic. Also, who the ♥♥♥♥ thought space is good for attack, if you're not going to make it jump, then at least make it dash, space has always been a key for movement, not attack
