- Hmm. I think the first collection was better but this one was not bad - I really enjoyed the Capcom vs SNK and Power Stone games. They were really fun - The rest were ok. Plasma Sword and Project Justice were quite simple although gave a little challenge - Did Ingrid really got introduced in Capcom Fighting Evolution? I initially bought this game because a friend mentioned his love and excitement for CVS2 and Power Stone. 1 year later it's our staple game to play. Highly recommend for causal/party game and for high level gaming.1 found this helpful
Brings a whole new generation of gamers to these classics again! really my kids saw Power Stone and just went nuts, like us back in the day, they told everyone about it. they started having "smash" style sessions with friends, fantastic! Some great games from Dreamcast and Ps2 days of gaming. some missing games you wish were on there and some you question why they're here "ehhh wow good to see you again Capcom Fighting Evolution....i wish i wouldnt have bought you for xbox and that duke controller.. i thought i wouldnt have to suffer through you again in my life"
Classic Capcom Arcade Goodness!
Carried over from the previous collection, this one also offers CRT filters, save states, concept art/arcade flyers, a music player, online play, a modern practice mode and the ability to switch between the Japanese and international versions of games and Steam achievements. Since this collection is based around 3D games, you also get the ability to increase the internal rendering resolution. Just like the previous collection was mostly focused on CPS2 games, this one is mostly NAOMI with some exceptions. Also just like the previous game, all the included games are the arcade versions, no home ports. Let's go through each game one by one: The Street Fighter Alpha series is represented by Street Fighter Zero 3 Upper, the Dreamcast/NAOMI enhanced version of Alpha 3. Since it's no longer bound by the CPS2's hard storage limit the game has a very large roster. During character selection you also choose your character's ISM which changes aspects of how they play like the way the meter works.
