Care perfectly embodies the feeling of closing the lights off before heading upstairs. Its setting and atmosphere are deeply deeply unsettling, borderline haunting. Presentation and audio design are excellent, creating an extremely immersive experience. I absolutely loved the implementation of the retro FMV point-and-click style animations. Dynamic item puzzles almost feel more akin to that of an immersive sim, with different possibilities possibilities and outcomes. Care is s-care-y as hell, a perfectly executed immersive horror experience.4 found this helpful
Devs, if you are reading this, redo the creepy clearly AI art things that appear in the 2nd half - they are so obviously AI and really take you out of what the rest of the game is, which is a really damn solid horror that REALLY had me invested. I am a huge fan of what you made, the world and sound design is great, there's a lot of things I wasn't expecting too. For anyone curious, there's no jumpscares either.4 found this helpful
This game hits close to heart, since it's also my profession. And being myself a carer, I could only wish that the caring part of the game was indeed longer, since I found it very relaxing, and there are no care simulator games. The game is extremely good in the part where it shows the stress of being a carer. I admit I didn't enjoy that much the horror part, but again, this is a personal preference. Some things can be extremely hard to find and you probably won't find them all on your first try. An amazing and unique game that once again proves that indies are the gaming worlds salvation.3 found this helpful

Ai Imagery really killed this game for me, I understand that most of the game is actually crafted by people, and that the devs express they felt the need to use it because of the small team size, but to me that is no excuse, if you are going to use generative ai to any degree the end result should be free, also the game has been out for over a year now, im sure with the profits from the games sales they could commission a real artist to replace these ai images, I am aware they disclosed the use of ai in the description, but i did not see that before purchasing the game. I am glad they disclosed it, but that does not warrant charging 10 dollars for a product not entirely original.3 found this helpful
Love the graphics and art style, and overall, it's a decent game with some secrets to find out here and there which makes exploring the mansion rewarding. While it's creepy enough to enjoy, there's a few things it could've done better, mostly regarding the pacing as things start to escalate both pretty early and quickly when a bit more build up would've been more interesting. Why not let us stay at the mansion for at least a day with some weird events and discoveries raising the tension here and there before the "boo, lights out, here's the horror thing" happens? It feels like the whole setting of the player being a nurse taking care of an elderly is wasted on it being merely the reason for us to go there and then almost immediately dropping that angle. I also wouldn't have made the game so dark during the phase in which the player gets to search the house. It got annoying and I think the innitial system of only a limited number of lamps being on at once was sufficient to create a menacing mood. Still, I highly recommend Care, had a great time.
