About Charmareians
Features:
The Story of Charmareians:
The Charmareian race is in a dire situation. Our offspring are infected by what our people call a plague. They label these Charmareians as Outliers. Said Outliers have been treated poorly for long enough! I will not stand by any longer while my people are fighting amongst themselves!
Every passing day, the Misfit army grows bigger and stronger! We will do whatever it takes to bring the people of Charmara together.
Not everyone can become a Misfit, but all I ask for is your support! If you're interested in joining, please talk to one of my elite members!
Meet the elite squad!
Misfit Elite #4: Cherumi
The Misfit's bundle of joy. If Cherumi isn't feeling well, the group's morale will be tarnished.
(Notes: She was supposed to be the third elite member, but her sister is one bad apple. Whatever those are.)
Misfit Elite #3: Varlim
The thorn in my side... The red hot varlet! She's nothing like her twin sister. She just does whatever she wants and pays people no mind. You'll never see her without her custom Charmara Armor, Mark 1.
Misfit Elite #5: Freya
Freya Charmara, princess of Planet Charmara. Otherwise known as the Outlier Princess. She's led a tough life despite her position. Years and years of ridicule from her people has backed her into a corner. That all changed one fateful day, when she met up with the leader of the Misfits.
Misfit Elite #6: Mavarin
Mavarin, the Charmareian of Earth. After being pushed around her entire life, she made the decision to leave her people behind. She is revered as a god by the Earthians. Despite her terrible experiences on Planet Charmara, she hopes to return one day. There's someone she has to see again no matter what.
Misfit Elite #7: Naho
Naho... She's weird... S-She irks me...

Very little perspective and descriptive writing. It relies heavily on back and forth dialogue, which leads to a lot of jumping around. It also contains sentences that contradict what was previously talked about. I wanted to get further into the story because of other reviews claiming it gets better the further you go, but the beginning was just too uninteresting and annoying to read for me to continue.4 found this helpful

Charmareians is a unique mix of soft sci-fi and cute anime girls - and it just works. It has a compelling plot which thickens considerably the further in you get, and a very likable cast that feels refreshingly fleshed out for the rather short length of the novel. Each of the five main heroines has the potential to steal your heart... and they might just will if you're not careful enough. The music fits the spacey atmosphere well and doesn't get repetitive at all. Featuring well over 50 different tracks, there is enough variety for any mood. And, although it may not be for everyone, I appreciate the radiating uniqueness of the artstyle. It is easy to tell just how much thought and detail went into the character sprites, background drawings and CGs. Speaking of which, the novel surprises on a technical level with 4k resolution, moving and shaking character sprites as well as my personal favorite: segments where you progress by navigating through a minimap. All in all, Charmareians is a very charming visual novel, and I'm looking forward to see what Team Misfit Makers will be up to in the future. Varlim best girl, Naho close second.2 found this helpful
"Charmareians" is not a game, it's an e-book that's been dumped on Steam masquerading as a game. As a visual/interactive novel, this doesn't feature any notable gameplay, it's just a lot of clicking through badly written dialogue that would never have been accepted or published in print, which poses the question, "How did something this badly written end up on Steam?". When someone hoping to become an author is unable to get published in print, they spend $100 and dump their high school fan-fiction onto Steam, under the guise of a game. This is yet another godawful cringey high school anime club dropout fan-fiction about, you guessed it, the "author" and his harem of underaged anime girl girlfriend/waifus (no, see officer, they're really alien gods called charmareians that are thousands of years old and just look like little girls so this totally isn't illegal officer so you can put away the taser officer). Ugh... this is peak cringe, and we have to wonder why there are so many of these non-game cringey fan-fictions about anime fanclub rejects and their anime girlfriends. Pretty sure this garbage got the author onto a few watchlists. This was slapped together with the godawfu…
