About Save The World

Introducing "Save the World", a thrilling sci-fi story about Ekiya, a young woman living in London who's struggling to make ends meet with her roommate, Sarah, in a world where all that matters is how much money you make.

After a break-up and recent job change, Ekiya's life takes an even more drastic turn when she's kidnapped by aliens. Their leader introduces themself as Xen and explains that they are space travelers with the objective of saving the worlds they encounter.

Xen asks Ekiya about the problems on Earth and all Ekiya does is answer seemingly innocent questions about the world including the uneven distribution of wealth. Little does she know, her answers will soon influence the fate of the entire world.

The following day, Xen makes a proclamation: every day a progressively increasing number of the wealthiest individuals on Earth would be killed. At first, there are attempts to fight back. However, the superiority of the aliens' technology quickly becomes clear. The world is completely at their mercy-- and perhaps, Ekiya's.

Xen seems to trust her judgement and continues listening to Ekiya's advice. Can Ekiya change Xen's mind? Convince them to leave? Or, if it comes to it, can Ekiya discover a way to destroy Xen and the rest of the aliens?

This is exactly what Agent Castillo from MI6 asks her to do.

As Ekiya, you must decide what to do. Do you prioritize humanity or will you look for a more peaceful way to settle things? Maybe this is your chance to better the world. Instead of destroying the aliens, perhaps you can use your influence to inact even more radical changes-- changes that will potentially help more than yourself and your roommate. After all, what have the rich ever done for you besides ignore your suffering?

With four different endings, two love interests (Xen and Sarah), and a story full of unpredictable and thoughtful moments, "Save the World" is a game that you won't want to miss.

Note: There is a free DLC patch that unlocks the uncensored version of this visual novel. However, I chose not to install this DLC even though it is available. Also, an awesome friend gifted me a copy of this game. ^^ Save the World is a sci-fi, yuri visual novel developed and published by Winter Wolves. You take on the role of Ekiya, a young woman of Indian descent living in London with her roommate and best friend, Sarah. Like many people in the world, Ekiya is struggling to make ends meet, working a job that she dislikes but has to in order to pay the bills. As she's out on an errand one evening, she sees a homeless woman and seeing her state, Ekiya offers her a bit of money so that the woman can buy herself something to eat. Of course, Ekiya would like to help out more, but she's barely scraping by. Soon afterwards, Ekiya is teleported to an alien spaceship (yup, you read that correctly lol) and is confronted by Xen, the leader of the aliens, who explains that they're here to help the people on Earth to solve their problems. In order to do so, Xen asks Ekiya what those problems are. Thinking about her situation, Ekiya explains that money is the source of…

PLEASE more people play this game. Sure, it's not got many romance options, but that is literally the only downside. It's got a good story premise, it's got good cgs, and it's got plenty of endings.

It's a fun little yuri story which gets into (oversimplified) versions of the issues which face society, and problems which more forceful solutions to said problems would create. Tankies will be severely pissed-off or, if particularly in-denial, dismiss those negative results as mere fiction while ignoring real-world history, so they should study history instead of playing this. Political commentary aside, I will note that this game could've used another pass of proofreading, as there are multiple cases of incorrect words being used -- spelled correctly, so not caught by spellcheckers, but grammatically incorrect in the context. These are few and usually far-between, however. The background art is gorgeous, and the music is lovely and always appropriate. I love the ending song enough I'm going to buy the soundtrack when I have the funds to spare, as well. The character art, however... ugh. Boobs do not work like that, though this isn't the *worst* attempt at them I've seen, they're at least proportionate (if at the upper end of the reasonable range for the MC and Sarah's frames). Also, arms THAT skinny, like theirs', are rarely paired with thicker legs like Sarah has... and who…

I have seen one Ending but will not continue to the others. The Story as well as the writing style is not what I prefer. But I still can see why the other reviews are loving this one. You can feel the love this game has gotten from its developers, so I still give a thumbs up, even though it was not quite what I prefer.

Save the World is a simple yet interesting yuri(?) visual novel based on a "what if" scenario eventuating from our first contact with an alien species. Cute protagonist Ekiya may pursue three possible romances through her best friend Sarah, Agent Castillo or commander Xen, whilst also choosing whether she wishes to either support or oppose alien philosophies. Artwork (including R18+ DLC), music and UI are all very good. I was particularly curious to see how the Ekiya/Xen romance unfolded whilst keeping Ekiya pro alien... Overall, Save the World is recommend as a great VN.
