About Star-Crosst
War is rough. Rebuilding isn’t easy. But we all start somewhere.
The year is 2323. Thirteen years ago, the Earth was attacked by an invasive alien species. They used a superweapon that altered the Earth’s atmosphere, causing intense weather changes in the space of hours, creating hurricanes in jungles and blizzards in deserts. They made no attempts to communicate. Humans had taken to calling them ‘riklid.’
And today, the humans won. The riklid retreat after being dealt a decisive blow.

You play as Ezra Foy, a young twenty-something coming out of their senior year at university. For Ezra, it feels like time had stopped: the war effort was all anyone could focus on, and now that peace has finally been won again, the time for revelry and relationships has begun. Choose between three love interests, each with their own deep branching storylines and hundreds of lines of dialogue; enjoy a futuristic setting involving people and places of all different walks of life, including a friendly lizard-like alien species known as the Ghians; and decide what the best course of action should be living in a post-war era, and what we as individuals can do for our future.

While NSFW content is not nessesary for a Visual Novel to be good. The lack of it here hurts though, an adult patch would have made the difference for me. I knew there was non before buying it, but as the visuals and premisis looked promissing I decided to buy it anyway. But in the 1st 20 minutes you get the choice to pick for a threesome to just be rewarded with a rather uncermonious black screen. A weak effort at best. Also the sound is just not interesting, especially the lack of a background soundtrack, so you go for streches of text without some kind of mood music. I can't recommend the game, even at the Wintersale price I got it for.10 found this helpful
I bought this because Shy told me to.2 found this helpful
Degenerate Slop
I'll start off by saying, I bought this game awhile ago. I bought it before I really started becoming critical of sexual content in my games. I know that's not something everyone struggles with like I do, but I still appreciate games with a good story. In many story based games, sexual content can still be avoided. I decided to try playing this game with the hopes of encountering a good story and good character interactions, perhaps even romances depending on how tame the game was. There was one thing I didn't take into account, though. The main character. I hate him. The first ten minutes of the game are great. Good story to back the setting, narrating the details of how we've come to where we are. The war is over. It's time to celebrate. What a cool idea. And then the main character chats with a woman, Carla... And they both immediately are considering doing the hanky panky. They go outside and meet a female lizard who neither of them know and... Also, wants to. In a threesome. I chose to decline the options. But then my character has his inner monologue about how he can't believe he turned down a threesome with Carla and a lizard woman. And I'm sittin…1 found this helpful
a short emotional story with great voice acting and greater writing. "A genial countenance... entrenched in contusions.../... A smiling face... Covered in bruises." 10/10 genuinely one of the best reading experience i've had in my life.
Enjoyed the simple nice story!
Well, it was a nice read. The only thing that I disliked was the time jumps. Every path accelerated a bit too fast, especially with the one-year jump, I would have liked a bit more before that. Okay, I have two more, I think, kind of. There were some inconsistencies, they were few, but they were there, and I disliked a bit the choosing part, where answer possibilities get revealed. Not a fan of that. But all in all, I had fun with it, had some laughter and the sad points were really good I really could feel with them.
