Chefcito Asesino

Very simple side scroller. Progression is gaining coins to buy weapons and character skins. Weapon costs are a little high. No support for pad, but steam input makes it work. It is in Spanish but easily understood visuals allow you to play in any language.

Steam is drowning in thousands of lazy, low-effort 2D platformers, and "Chefcito Asesino" is yet another one. I'm not kidding, there's over 17,000 platformers on Steam, almost all of them are garbage, amateur kitbashes. This is not one of the good ones. This is a very medicore 2D platformer shooter where you get to control a rat with a gun. The rat has the gun, rather, and you control the rat. That's all there is to this... a mediocre and shallow platformer designed for iPhones and inexplicably up on Steam as a once-paid product. Imagine trying to charge PC gamers for mobile apps on Steam. The platforming genre is pretty much obsolete... just a tiny number of professionally developed platformers exist on PC and offer any real value or interest to gamers (Silksong, etc). This is nowhere near being as good as Hollow Knight or Silksong. Even without a price tag, it's easy to see why gamers ignored this in favor of modern, professionally developed 3D games.
