About Chess Knightmare
Chess Knightmare is a variant of chess that is NOT turn-based. The only limit to how often you can move is how fast you can move your mouse. You play as a lone knight, traveling through the country and taking on the armies of chess pieces from your opponents. Each opponent piece has a certain behavior and movement patterns. Try to take the opponent's king with quick thinking, fast mouse speed, and clever knight maneuvers. As you progress, you will be able to unlock a special additional piece that will help you defend yourself: The Rock. Use it to block the opponent from taking you.Content;
- 18 different opponents
- 2 bonus gamemodes
- 2 different time controls
- 8 skins to unlock

I'm not fast enough to play this rage-filling game. I have to outsmart it. Luckily, I did :). This game seems excellent for training instincts and fast reactions, without the typical drawbacks of developing bad habits from playing bullet.3 found this helpful
I bought this thinking it would be a chill little chess thing. It was not chill. :)) There are no turns, so you’re basically just reacting the whole time. At first I kept freezing up like “wait, whose move is it?” and then immediately getting punished for standing still xD. Once it clicks, though, it’s weirdly fun in a stressful way. You’re not sitting there planning ahead like normal chess. It’s more like learning patterns, moving on instinct, and sometimes just barely getting out of bad situations. When you mess up, it usually feels like yeah, that was on me, which honestly made me want to try again instead of quitting. Try it yourself, recommended 100%3 found this helpful
Highly Recommended 👍 I did not expect a chess game to make me sweat, but here we are. Chess Knightmare throws out turn-based play and replaces it with pure chaos. You’re a knight, everything else is trying to ruin your day, and nobody waits their turn. Half the time I felt clever, the other half I felt like I’d made a terrible mistake five seconds ago and was only now realizing it. It’s fast, stressful in a fun way, and weirdly addictive. You’re constantly reacting, clicking, and thinking just enough to survive. When things go right, you feel smart. When they don’t… well, that’s on you. If you like chess ideas but don’t like sitting still and thinking quietly, this is a fun twist that doesn’t take itself too seriously.3 found this helpful
Silliest version of chess there ever was.2 found this helpful
As a beginner in chess, this game seriously ♥♥♥♥♥♥ with my soul. Had me twitching my fingers in pain. It is a fun game if you like a good challenge with SPEEEEEEEEEEEEED. Honestly, I'm still stuck in the easy mode. HELP. PLEASE. COMPLETE THE GAME FOR ME.2 found this helpful
A fun take on chess which challenges your board vision and mouse speed. Good warmup before playing some bullet. I especially love the game's sense of humour.1 found this helpful
