Chimp Quest: Spirit Isle

This is a decent time management game which deserves more attention.

You take on the role of a troop of monkeys, sailing on a ship and getting stranded on a mysterious island. The monkeys decide to make this island their new home, but first, they'll have to get acquainted with the resident monkeys and other creatures as well as appease the island's spirits. Can these adorable monkeys succeed with their quest? With the gameplay, it consists of 37 levels, and in each level, you're given a number of tasks to complete, ranging from rescuing civilians to activating statues. To assist you with these tasks, you can construct buildings that produce resources, such as wood and food. Fun but classic time-management game where you help a bunch of monkeys. After several series of hidden object games and mini-games, the developer is not trying to take a crack at time-management games. Although the main stars of the game are monkeys, the mechanics follow the genre’s template. The goal is these games is to gather a few basic resources, use them to clear the path to the exit and complete various objectives. Beside bananas, the main resource that monkeys need for almost every action, you also have wood and stones. These can be collected by picking bundles on the road or destroying tree stumps or rocks. The only difference is that destroying stuff wastes bananas. The main mechanic is that you can perform only one action per monkey. Once the action is completed, the monkey has to return to its house before it can be sent out on another job. They move pretty fast so the stages don’t take a long time to complete. Stages can also have special monkeys that work in special buildings. Once fixed, the buildings automatically generate a resource.
