Join two young pirate chimps on their quest to make the Ultimate Friendship Smoothie through this bright and lively monkey world.

Monkeys Ahoy! is a match 3 game with a twist where players can collect pirate treasures by drawing the longest line possible through the same shapes and colors. The game allows for unique combos and chaining as you jump between shape and color.

It's easy to learn but continually challenging as you try make the longest chain through all the pirate goodies!

Cute looking game. But I see no reviews, no discussions. Hm... Ok, I'll jump into the water and see if it swims! :) And it does! Nice match block game with a different mechanic (store page explains it well, plus it starts with a tutorial). Unity launcher with settings for different resolutions and window/fullscreen mode! Separate music and sound toggles. A weird slider for language. It starts in German for some reason, even though my Steam and my OS are English. With the 2nd attempt I managed to handle the slider correctly and make it English. :) No timer, so far, play in peace, no stress. After a few levels it points out the limited moves to reach the level goal. If there's anything else I'll add it, but for now I want to add a review with the basic info I hoped to find. :)

Monkeys Ahoy is yet another of literally hundreds of mobile app Match-3/Bejewelled/Candy Crush ripoff games infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere. Weirdly this isn't a mobile port, because I couldn't see it on any app stores, but it 100% looks and feels like a mobile app. And, laughably, they want money for this. You can play Candy Crush for free, so this is a weird business model that apparently, predictably, and deservedly failed. The only differentiators in this mobile app in exile is that you can match either object types or object colours, and you can chain your matches together to get much larger scores... that's really all there is to it. Fairly pointless. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. While there are options to change the resolution for the game, all this does is scale up the simplistic 2D art assets used to make the game, which makes little or no difference to the graphics quality. Without any other substantial graphics tweaks, it's not possible for gamers to improve the lacklustre 2D visuals. The controls can't be customised because th…

It’s a fun, puzzle Tetris sort of game. We bought it because of the name but it has some cute monkey sounds. We like making the monkeys say “ahoy” when you clear the whole screen in one move.

It's a merely okish match objects game for kids. Not very good, nothing special, wouldn't recommend playing it unless you're a bored kid and also there are no steam achievements and the ingame achievements are bugged. All in all there are 80 levels to complete. Would give it a neutral rating if I could, but Steam won't let me.

Very weird with no real purpose. I was expecting match three items of the same thing, but for some weird reason you can select near enough whatever you want. I only played the first two levels, well I had a go at the second level, I ended up bored and turning the game off. You are expecting Tetris or Columns but getting something weird. The graphics are pretty good for the genre. I was bored and I thought that I would give this a try, but nah possibly never again. I would sooner watch paint dry.
