Christmas Mutilator is a holiday-themed horror game that puts a twisted spin on Christmas, letting you step into a violent, festive nightmare. It leans into shock value and slasher-style horror, with player choice baked into how the experience unfolds. Pros ✔️ The concept is cool - A killer Santa horror setup is solid on paper and had my interest right away. ✔️ The intro works well - It sets the tone nicely and made me think I was in for something fun and mean in the right way. ✔️ Choosing your scary Santa - That bit of choice added some personality early on. Cons ❌ The UI is outright game-breaking - It’s so bad that it actively stops the game from being playable when interacting with the phone. ❌ Textures are stretched and mismatched - Visually, things fall apart fast, to the point where it looks broken rather than stylized. ❌ Sound design misses the mark - Some effects are more annoying than unsettling, which kills tension instead of building it. I'm so disappointed by this game I actually felt compelled to write a review. Game's ♥♥♥♥. Avoid.
This is a well put together festive indie horror game. Neat story and good aesthetic. The game plays out well, plus the multiple endings are fun to figure out and get. Plenty of gore, suspense and horror. Plus the music is good.
Games scary but needs more fluid direction in the game because it is sometimes confusing, switches are so dark it so hard to see I'll give it a 5/10 and i gave me a nice jumpscare so I'll give it a 6/10
I can't recommend this one. The idea is there but literally every section of the game has problems. The textures warp, the checkpoints are horrible, the section in the woods is horrible and draws out too long. The places to find things in the house don't make sense and those bloody stairs annoy me in so many ways.
