"ChronoBreach" is one of literally thousands of retro 2D platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere... and I'm not kidding. Searching for "platformers" on the Steam store page yields over 17,000 results! Is this one of the best of those? Absolutely not. This is a painfully generic action platformer with a bit of shooting and a time manipulation mechanic. It's reminiscient of ancient PC platformers like Duke Nukem and Commander Keen, and could be considered a contemporary of those, if this was released in 1991. It is not 1991. Platforming is an old, mostly dead genre, and this lacklustre experience, while it doesn't have an upfront cost, isn't saving the genre... it's no surprise this failed to capture any attention from gamers in the era of immersive 3D gaming. This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. Динамичный геймплей, где каждое прохождение ощущается уникальным благодаря рандомной генерации уровней и богатейшему арсеналу оружия и способностей. Механика управления временем реализована просто гениально, позволяя замедлять время для уклонений от пуль или, наоборот, ускорять его, чтобы наносить сокрушительные удары. Пиксельная графика выполнена на высочайшем уровне, создавая атмосферу ретро-футуризма, а саундтрек идеально дополняет происходящее на экране. Боссы – настоящие испытания, требующие не только меткости, но и тактического мышления. Из минусов можно отметить, пожалуй, чуть завышенный порог вхождения для новичков, поскольку игра не прощает ошибок. Также, иногда встречаются незначительные баги, но разработчики активно работают над их устранением. В целом, ChronoBreach – это захватывающий и затягивающий экшен, который надолго поселится в вашей библиотеке игр. Рекомендую всем любителям жанра!

its not a big game or anything, but while waiting for some other bigger game to upd or install, its fun to play. also after you've beaten the game a couple times, its fun to make challenges to youreslf like "collect all the chips" or "speedrun" or "pacifist" simple things like theese are what make the game something you can always ceom back to when bored, and even if it dosent entertain you for long it gives you enough time to ponder for something better
