About City Patrol: Police
City Patrol: Police — Combatting Crime!
Attention! The City Patrol Special Unit is recruiting new members — and they want YOU! Enforce order in the city’s streets and highways, be the arm of the law. Begin your police career as Rank 1 Officer and after each successful completion of ten missions in the free game, the player advances one rank finishing as Rank 10 Captain III. Your beat is a large, open 3D world with highways, country roads, and industrial estates. Enforce the law!
Thrilling missions, powerful cars and fighting crime will be your routine! Whether it’s issuing offenders with parking and speeding tickets or thwarting terrorist plots and other crimes — only one thing counts in your job: Guarantee safety in your beat!
The game has a wide range of detailed vehicles with varying HP, from a transporter to an SUV to a muscle car. Choose your vehicle wisely — as often as not, it isn’t the ultra-powered racer that gets you through downtown’s narrow streets to your destination safe and sound! Travelling through the city has it challenges the realistic physics of dense and authentically simulated traffic in the city and on the highway demands good reflexes and driving skills.

It's no Crash Time, but City Patrol: Police isn't spectacularly bad. It's an average game set in a nice world borrowed from a superior title. Lots of driving to do, several vehicles to unlock, and a handful of random missions you can repeat when you're bored. The main "quest" is 15 missions long, mostly told through surprisingly nicely drawn images, and very cheesy...but it does have full voice acting unlike most similar games. There are also 15 races which let you configure AI difficulty and even traffic density to spice things up a little. No soundtrack to speak of but this does have different audio for every vehicle you'll drive. Expect said driving to always be a little sketchy with lots of oversteer during moderate cornering. You can leave your vehicle during certain missions although you gain nothing from doing so. The best part of the vehicles would be the damage modelling, parts don't fall off but dents from hitting things always appear where the vehicle collided with an object. Achievement hunters, you're looking at around 10 hours for completion. All included work but some tied to missions unlock in the wrong order, which going by statistics is common. So overall - all assets are stolen from Synetic/Crash Time games (and nearly all are at least 12 years old lmao). I guess they could do that since crash time is abandonware at this point. Synetic is long gone and crash time series was published under Techland which is long gone as well (as publisher). Assets were ported into unreal 4, but it's only them. Driving and crash physics were left out so it is like in a stock project in UE4. Only map doesn't seem to be stolen but you never know. Cars handle like soap on wheels, every bump is a full stop. Paid 1$ and it still feels like a scam. You are better off getting any game from Crash Time/ Alarm fur Cobra 11 from the 7 seas since everything beside 2 and 3 is not available. Shame on Caipirinha Games for trying to destroy whatever is left of Crash Time legacy lol.2 found this helpful
All of the vehicles are empty, nobody driving them.1 found this helpful

There it is. The one racing game worse than Flatout 3. Congrats.
