About Clean Your Room
Your name's William, and today's your lucky day! You get to stay in your new room for the first time! There are tons of toys and gadgets to check-out. Well, not tons, just a couple hundred. However, with this assortment of toys comes a great responsibility to keep your room clean. While you may struggle with this in the beginning, as all children do, you'll soon find yourself remembering where every little thing belongs. Oh, and on top of building your memory, you'll make some new friends! YAY!
Upon your initial visit to The Room, you have an hour to memorize where everything goes. Use it wisely, as each following hour will test your memory with only 10 minutes on the clock to tidy up! As each hour progresses, your memory will be taxed more and more as the room becomes more and more disorganized, culminating in the ultimate puzzle. You might be thinking, "How do I keep track of the time?" Don't worry silly goose, that's what clocks are for! Your alarm will sound off at the 5-minute and 1-minute mark.
Now it is possible you may have never cleaned your room before, but it's pretty simple. Using your tiny little arms and legs (mouse and keyboard), walk around and collect any misplaced items, and return them to their designated spot by rotating, setting, dropping, or tossing them into place. To make it even easier, you don't have to worry about orientation, just location, location, location. Once you set everything in place, you just plop yourself into bed and if you put everything back where they belong, you get to progress to the next hour! If you didn't place everything in the right spot, you'll have to do it over! ;o;
They will make themselves known from time-to-time, and while it might not seem like it right away, they are there for you, much like you are there for them... Oh, and don't worry, they won't stop you from cleaning your room, only your feeble memory and Father Time will.
As mentioned before, you'll get that noggin' joggin'. If you always wanted a fun, and maybe slightly "alarming" method of expanding that memory bank you got, then this is just what the doctor ordered. Speaking of doctors, it will be interesting to see what they think of your new room...and your new friends!

First of all, I'm not typically into puzzle games, especially those focused on memory or time management. What drew me to this game was strictly its horror elements, and after getting half-addicted to this game, I will share my thoughts. One of the first things I noticed was the very impressive cross-over between genres here, it just hits a broad collection of niches — at it's core, a casual puzzle game that's memory-based, and then touching different areas like horror, the management part of it, it rewards strategic gameplay and it's perfect for speedrunners too. Upon launching the game, I immediately noticed very impressive physics of the game, nearly everything seems to fall into place how you intend it to. If you tilt or rotate an object in any certain way, you can sort of imagine how it will fall or land, and that is mostly how it actually ends up falling/landing, almost satisfying to experience. This also furthers the immersive part of the experience in Clean Your Room. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3327720074 As for the optimization of the game, it is not perfect. It felt okay, but I was not very satisfied with the performance compared to the vis…4 found this helpful
Really great twist on a memory based game. If you like puzzles and an "element of surprise" then this game is it.3 found this helpful
After having played several hours I wanted to weight in on this game. First off the premise is very cool but unexpected. I would highly recommend this game for anyone that likes brain teasers. The first two levels had me thinking this was going to be a pretty easy game but now I'm wondering how I can try to 'Clean' faster. I saw the achievements and welcome the challenge to try and collect them. For any gamers that like speed run type challenges this would be a good addition to your collection. This game really challenges your memory. I've found my self going back to the 8:00 PM marker to walk around and take stock of where everything was again before retrying a level. I would also like to mention that the developer responds promptly to reported issues or bugs. On a final note I just wanted to add that this game is unique and has some spooky vibes but that just adds to the appeal for me. I'm really enjoying the underlying story.1 found this helpful
I used to avoid cleaning my room most days. Now I always keep my room clean. Everything is in its place. It's the only way to stop them from --- I really enjoyed the game. You slowly learn every inch of the room and the game does a great job of challenging your memory and speed with each level. Hearing the ding of the achievement letting you know you managed to put everything away correctly is really satisfying.
