I like clickers but not this

Clothing Clicker is about as simple as a clicker game can get. I click on clothing, collect more clothing and slowly build up a collection of different items. That is basically the whole idea, and I actually think the game works best when I do not expect anything more complicated from it. It is free to play, single player and very easy to understand, so I can load it up, click for a while and then leave it running in the background. The collecting is the part I find most appealing. The game gives me random clothing drops over time and I can build up my collection from there. The items can also be worn, which gives the collecting a little more purpose than simply filling up a list. There is also a Steam achievement, so there is at least a small extra goal beyond collecting the clothing itself. The fact that designs can come from the community also gives the collection a constantly changing feel. What I like is how little effort the game asks from me. I do not have to learn complicated systems or keep checking several upgrade menus. It is something I can open while doing something else and come back to later. This game is the absolute peak of digital minimalism the developers clearly decided that things like plot complex mechanics or actual physics are completely overrated instead they gave us the pure unfiltered essence of the 21st century you click on a 2d waifu and your reward is a fresh outfit for your virtual crush :)
